[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Scosche's mounts since I started driving, and these are amazing products. Make it so safe to use phones hands free. And they hold very well for long term use. I only change them when i get a new car or phone. I have these in all the cars and SUVs in my house. This particular holder has more usefull features than others. You can stick it with suction cup on windshield or by steering wheel according to your need. It has very strong magnet on the arm, and arm is extendable. And holds the phone in place while you use it or while driving. Ypu put a metal plate behind your phone and stick it on the holder. I have taken my calls, used gps and listen to audio books or music while driving and driving with kids is way more comfortable and safe with these than I can't imagine not having it in my car or my husbands. I highly recommend it. Only regret you'll have after buying it, that why didn't you buy it before. Well worth your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is great,I literally found 20 ways to use it, the suction is very strong and if you are using on a surface where you can't use the suction simply adjust the brackets and you won't even need the suction, its able to stand by itself and still hold your phone, it uses a very strong magnet that holds the device with no problems. There is a small paper thin piece of metal that can be attached to your outer phone case , or you can slide it inside your case because it's so thin, and it really works . I have used this around the house everyday since i got it, on the counter top , on my riding mower, and in my car. 6 stars

very versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scosche 0266MPWDEX2-XTSP MagicMount Pro Extendo comes in a very nice package that makes it a good gift choice. I would compare it with Apple or Google electronic devices packaging. 
It looks and feels well made. It has different hardware to install it either on a dash panel or on a windshield. Suction cup is large and well made, keeps phone secure and did not disconnect from a windshield even when I drove on dirt road.
Good option is a telescopic arm that allows to bring a phone closer to a driver, so the phone is easy to touch and operate. The arm easily can change position at any necessary angle then secured the position with a thumbscrew.
I installed the mount on windshield in my Honda Pilot. Magnet kept phone pretty well when I drove on highway. On dirty road my iPhone a few time disconnected with the mount magnet, but after I readjusted the arm position lower, so my phone's lower edge touched a dashboard, the issue was fixed and my phone never fall down from the mount since then.
I definitely recommend it to my friends.

Good cellphone mount

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried all kinds of different window mounts vent mounts and dashboard mounts, but this is hands-down the best. Just testing it out at my house it locks into place on any glass surface without having to apply moisture like all of the other ones I have used. 

 This kit gives you several different ways that you can mount devices of several different types . And it is well-made. It attaches via a small magnetic piece that is applied to the device you wish to use, and it works with any iPhone or iPad.

Excellent window/dashboard mount

But putting the larger MagicPlate Metal Plate inside my Otterbox case did not work. It just slide slowly off the Pro Magnetic mount. Applying the smaller Metal Plate to the outside of my case worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before the MagicMount, I used a grip that was held on by my car vents. Sadly, because of my car design, there wasn't really a good place to put it, and it would lose the grip of the vents and become very loose. I tried one of these grips before, but because of the heat/lack of suction, it wouldn't stay. I decided now that I have a new phone to give this product a try, and it didn't disappoint. It's strong, stable, stays where it needs to, and is easy to take my phone on and off. It's a well made product. The only major flaw is that because it uses magnets instead of a grip/claw, you can't put a thick case on your phone, and I regrettably require a case with a battery pack due to long work hours and hard phone usage.

Hasn't slipped yet; better than a vent grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Note: I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I am using the mount to place a spare smartphone in a house window (see picture). First, it needs better instructions, ok it needs instructions on how to put it together. Frankly, I did not think the ball would fit where it is supposed to go and spent too much time trying to figure it out. Finally, with a lot of pressure it did pop in. Would have been nice to know that was required. It is a fairly well made unit and I can recommend it as long as you are not trying to use it through a case. The magnate is not strong enough for holding it through a case, especially if you are going down the road. I have a different brand in my car and the magnate is much stronger and has no problem holding my phone through the case. One more thought, if you are going to mount it on glass, as I did, I recommend slightly dampening the suction cup.
