It's not perfect, as it would be nice if it were about half a millimeter to a full millimeter shallower so the charging puck stands proud just slightly instead of sinking in behind the plastic rim just slightly. But it's a great replacement for my MagicMount Charge on its adhesive dash mount already in place.

I love this product. Easy to install. Accepted the apple MagSafe charger no problem. Secures my iPhone while charging. I always know where my iPhone is in my car. Love it!

Magic Mount is King!

Great design and a very well built product. I am not typically a fan of vent mounts but this one is well thought out. I researched ALOT of products. I am very happy Scosche.

Fantastic Product!

Before I got my iPhone 13 I was using an iPhone X and using the adhesive-backed metal plates stuck to my phone case and a Scosche car charger and a magnetic wireless charging solution. This of course did not work with the phone. This replaced my previous setup without me having to apply the metal plates to the phone case and thanks to the "arm" attachment I'm using, it even makes the phone easier to reach, though I wish it didn't wobble as much as it does. Granted, when my eyes are on the road where they should be, I don't see the wobble.

What I needed

I'm very picky about my car mounts. I want them to be stable and reliable. This one is ok. I've used it so far attached to a vent and it attaches at least as well as other vent ones I've seen, but having a phone on the end of an arm attached to a vent is a recipe for bouncing and working lose from the vent. I like how adjustable it is and it has held while going down bumpy roads and on reasonably long trips, but it needs adjusting at the end. I haven't yet use the adhesive to attach it directly to the dash, which I expect to be much better. I do like having both options and doing the vent first lets me experiment with placement. I've used a scosche window mount for 5ish years and loved it but I wanted to get a charging one when I got the iphone 12. This has the same quality that I expected and for the price I'm very very pleased. I just want it to be a bit more stable.

Pretty good but vents are bouncy

Nice holder for the MagSafe but it slips out of the vents. The vent clip is not designed well.

So the mount is very secure (like the other Scosche mounts I've used). There's just one small problem - it's supposed to be a charging mount when you supply your Apple MagSafe charger - but the dinky little adapter they provide to plug the MagSafe into doesn't have enough juice to actually charge the phone. Battery percentage goes DOWN while you drive instead of up. Called customer service - they said I shouldn't be using any apps if I want the phone to charge. Excuse me? I can't use GPS while I'm driving?!? Like I always have with my phone plugged in to charge??? That doesn't make any sense at all. What does make sense is that your adapter doesn't have enough output - but you won't admit that or fix the problem. Interestingly enough, this product is "unavailable" now. (Probably because they're had so many issues with it - but still refuse to make things right for the people that purchased them.) Very disappointed in this product and in Scosche in general. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Great mount (if you don't need phone to charge)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well with older iPhones but not with a 15 Pro case. Gifted it to my kid.

Doesn't work with iPhone 15 Pro case

Sales of this product lead people to believe that the apple mag safe charger has sufficient magnetic strength to hold a phone while driving. That is NOT the case. Complete waste of money --- DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!! Your phone will fall off every time you hit a medium size pot hole or you happen to brush your phone turning the A/C on. ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!

Selling this product should be a criminal offense

Both 3M tapes fell off when mounted both vertically & flat on a top. Vent mount is decent but if that's what I wanted I would've just bought a vent mount.

Terrible adhesion
