The dispenser has a non-slip bottom. So you could pull the tape without moving the dispenser, and the edge for cutting the tape is very sharp and cuts easily.

I'm happy with this Scotch desktop tape dispenser. It is solid, heavy, and can be used only with one hand to cut the tape. The dispenser is compact and will fit nicely on any desk or counter. The black/chrome colors match virtually any décor and loading it with a refillable tape is easy as pie. As an office and home essential, I can honestly recommend this tape dispenser, and the price is a fantastic value for the quantity and quality received :-)

Perfect cut

I like the two tone for the home office instead of everything black

This was much nicer than I thought it was going to be.  It is heavy without being too heavy, cuts the tape efficiently without struggling to tear the tape off, and is stylish.

Very nice product

I really like this tape dispenser.  It has a good heft to it when holding same and the tape roll
fits really well and is very easy to insert into the dispenser.  When pulling out the required 
amount of tape it tears off easily.   Very pleased with this Scotch product.  Also looks great on
desk!

Great Product

cant use with one hand.  seriously you cant.  pulling the piece is great till you go to rip it off and the back of the thing lifts off the table, I tried several ways and the issue seems to be the tear teeth are way too small for the tape.  they are tiny teeth that when you push straight down like a bead of nails it doesn't cut the tape.  wow whole thing ruined over a small part.

I liked that the tape holder is engineered so no one will accidentally throw it out. However, I wish it would lock in place so I can use one hand - it lifts up when I grab the tape making it difficult to quickly use again and again. I like my old one better.
