There is no directions on replacing the tape. But I called customer service and she said to put your finger under the tape roll and pull up and just pushed the new roll between the middle. And it worked... thank u

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the family's designed gift wrapper, there have been countless times where I really wished I had an extra set of hands to hold tape while wrestling wrapping paper around a present. Thankfully, I received a sample of the Scotch® Clip & Twist Desktop Tape Dispenser to try, and it has solved a problem I've struggled with for years. The quality of the dispenser is surprisingly great, very sturdy and I can tell it will hold up. I was definitely impressed with the clip; it fit around the edge of my table without any scratching or problems. This is a must-have to keep in the house, so I'll be buying some for all my relatives and friends to try as well!

Finally! An extra set of hands

It will make wrapping gifts so easy, no more trying to hold the paper and get tape as it slides accross the table. I just clip it on to the table and it stays put, and I can easy cut the tape. It is the most fabulous product I have seen in years. I even have it by my computer on a shelf for easy access. The swiveling top makes it easy to change the directionthat you are working, no matter the ledge you have it clipped to. I just love this product and would like to get a couple additional ones to have around the house.

Tape Dispenser with flexibility and stayput

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how the Clip & Twist tape despenser has a nice wide opening clamp. I was able to fit it on my thick sided desk and a shelf. Overall it stays inn place and doesn't seem to wiggle as you pull a piece of tape off the roll. I liked that it offers the 360 rotation and the 180 tilt. This is a must have for anyone who has limited desk space or wraps gifts often. Even if you craft this will be useful. If this design could be used for the larger rolls of tape this would be greatly appreciated as well. I was sent a free product on behalf of 3M for reviewing and testing purposes.

a great design

I bought this 3 days ago and I love it I think is a good purchase because it's ergonómic, easy to use and very practice for students like me! I only have a problems with the change of the tape, get me the impression that is going to break ... but in general everything is fine!

The clip is sturdy with a rubber protector to keep your surface safe. The dispenser rotates 360-degrees and has one-handed taping the can be done at almost any angle. Because of  these awesome features, you'll have 360-degree for horizontal surfaces or 180-degrees when clipped to vertical surfaces up to 1.25" thick; never misplace your tape again. Now if you run out of tape, simple refill  with Scotch Brand 3/4" tapes.

Simple one hand function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this product to test. It is one of those items you didn't know you needed until you had it. Easy to clip on and stays in place. Now that the tape dispenser has a dedicated home it is never lost and makes tape jobs a breeze.

Didn't even know how necessary

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate fairly.  I usually hold my tape in my mouth for ease of use so this product was a blessing!!  You can easily clip it to many surfaces because the clip does have a wide mouth.  It can clip onto surfaces of up to 1 1/4" thick. The swivel also makes it easy to be on either side of the dispenser.  The tape pulls off with ease and the dispenser stays in place so no worries on it falling off the surface it is clipped to.  You can clip it in multiple directions.  For example on top of the table or surface, under the table or surface or even on the back wall if you have a thin enough lip. The only issue I did have with it but this is because I am a walking hazard is that it does stick out from the surface so if you forget you clipped it there you can walk into it when you go to pass by.  The best part of this dispenser is it is refillable with 3/4" width Scotch Brand tape up to 1500" in length so no need to buy a new dispenser each time. I am attaching photos but as I do not have a surface with a back lip I attached it to my cats scratch tower so you can see the direction it can also go other than on a table surface.  I would recommend this product to friends and family and I will enjoy my use of it.  I am on my 2nd roll of tape now already!!

Great idea!!

Scotch Brand

This clip on tape dispenser seemed like it would be fabulous.  Unfortunately, there's no way to "lock" it in place so anytime I try to tear off a piece of tape, it just swivels.  I end up needing to use 2 hands - one hand to hold it from swiveling and the other to tear off tape.  If there was a way to lock the dispenser, it would be fantastic!
