Thank goodness I found these reviews. The language on the outermost end of this Double Sided Removable Tape is unclear and misleading at best. Nowhere on this package does it say to discard this Protective Wrap. Just a few more words would have saved all of us a whole bunch of frustration. Hope I like this product.

When the tape comes of the roll as it should...I love the product.  But, when the tape breaks or comes off unevenly and I must spend time trying to find the edge so I can pull the tape back to the metal cutting rim I am frustrated.  I am a crafter and this always happens during a project.  It also appears that the tape is not always one continuous roll and once again I'm trying to find the edge on the roll to get it going again.
I purchased the 3M double sided applicator hoping to avoid the above mess.  Unfortunately, the applicator stopped working properly after using it to dispense three rolls.  I am frustrated because I want to use your product.  But, I would like for it to be easy so it doesn't interfere with the creative process!

Tape Breaks While Dispensing It!

Add me to the legion of customers who have wasted so much time trying to figure out how this tape works!  If I had not read the reviews of other frustrated customers, I was prepared to mail the two sided tape back to 3M.  You tell us how to refill the dispenser but not how to get it started.  You can do better 3M!

Frustration

I use this double sided tape to mount photos and have multiple dispensers since I use it a lot.  However, recently, while using this tape, the very beginning of the roll, the tape splits and I end up unable to restart the roll.  I tried several different times trying to free up an end to start using these rolls again.  Very disappointing.

I purchased this product about six months ago. I also purchased my home and completely upgraded all appliances.  This is a high-dollar home.

I adorned my stainless steel fridge with articles, cartoons, and family pictures.  My problem occurred when I attempted to relocate/redistribute the menagerie and discovered that the double-sided tape not only ruined some of my family artifacts, it also nearly ruined the refridgerator.

I attempted to razor-scrape, cleanse using all suggested antidotes to no avail . . . And that is just one area; the rest of the refridgerator is marred with tape that I am reluctant to attempt to remove given the tragic ending to the one area that i did attempt to remove.

How do I effectively remove these “war wounds” from the face of my expensive refridgerator without damaging it?  Please help!

REALLY upset, but I may be at fault.

tape will not roll because it's sticking to the backing. I can pull some tape out but cannot place it properly on the item because the tape is sticking to the dispenser. Impossible to use the cutter, have to use scissors. I would have bought a tape runner but the store was sold out, I wonder why? Very disappointed in this product.
