It is designed with a medium adhesion rubber-based adhesive and is ideal for masking trim and woodwork around the home, office and business. Scotch® Masking Tape for Professional Painting use is a green masking tape with a medium level of adhesion that is designed to release cleanly and easily from previously painted surfaces such as windows, doors, wall trim and cabinets. The tape can also be used on carpets and vinyl flooring. It conforms well to most surfaces, and produces good paint lines. It also allows for clean removal for up to five days. It's easy to use, tears off conveniently, and doesn't not rip during application. When removed, it leaves no residue and doesn't damage the surface, which  is very important for my work. It holds well and does its job effectively.

In short, this tape solves all the mess I do when painting super easy to use it sticks very well but it doesn't damage the paint that already has the wall when removing it it is the same it doesn't remove the paint only the tape they would use it again its performance is super I finish faster since I'm not afraid when painting

Does not rip the wall when removing

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As a kindergartener educator, I am always looking for new and creative ways to spark learning in our classroom. I used scotch 3 ounce tape on the ground to create mosaic tile art piece that the kids could colour in with chalk. One of our students said, it reminded them of colourful glass which inspired the next piece to put on the windows. The tape stuck perfectly it didn't lift it tore easily and most importantly the removal was quick and easy and didn't leave a residue and it was easy to peel. The end result was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this product.

Best painters tape

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We used 3M tape for our craft with my daughter! The tape made for a great way to spell out what we wanted. We painted over it - waiting for it to dry. Then the fun begins! Which such easy peeling , revealing such clean lines underneath - zero paint bleed! Leaves zero residue when you remove it as well. The roll of tape itself is flexible & long enough for several uses.

Reliable painters tape

Bought two days ago. Used it to mask on skirting boards that were primed. After being on there for two days tried to take it off and it just kept tearing off in little pieces. Took about an hour to remove 15m.  Absolute rubbish. I will never use it again
