[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of the Scotch® Magic™ Greener Tape from 3M in exchange for my review. What I like about this product is that it is more eco-friendly than other types of tape, and it's made with 65% recycled or plant based materials. The tape works great, just as well as other brands, sticks perfectly, and it glides easily off of the dispenser. I also like how you can write on the tape, and the tape is photo safe. It's great for mending a rip in a piece of paper, for wrapping gifts, attaching photos, or whatever else you need a piece of tape for.

As good as the classic, but better for the planet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a free sample to test and provide feedback. I used this tape at home and at work. I did not notice any difference in quality. This seems to be the same great quality Scotch tape. It holds the same, looks the same, and feels the same. However, it does make me feel better that is greener and is better for the environment.

Same great tape but better for the enviornment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape has a matte-finish and is quite sturdy. I like the idea of plant-based adhesive material since it is a more eco-conscious choice. It works as well as my regular Scotch magic tapes. I've tried it on wrapping papers, regular printing papers, and even small boxes and it has worked well! The tape dispenser is easy to use and cuts the tape evenly every time. I received this product free from 3M, but I have also bought many of their products with my own money, and I'm more than pleased with the quality of their products.

The tape adheres well, rips easily and works well.  I do not find any difference in quality from this product--it is great. It is made from 65% recycled products. Works just as good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Scotch Magic Greener Tape dispenser and I wasn't sure how it would look or feel, let alone work. I definitely noticed a difference in the tape as how it feels and looks. It is a matte finish and looked like my other matte tapes. I had no problems tearing pieces off of the dispenser. It worked really well to tape paper and even to take pictures and papers to my wall. It is durable and had great adhesive. I have 3 kids and we do a lot of art projects and taping art on our walls. I also work from home so am finding this tape very useful and better because it is more eco friendly. Definitely recommend. 
I did get to try this for free but the opinions here are based on my own experiences.

Worked great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've asked myself how Scotch Brand could possibly make their Magic Tape better when it's already top notch and my answer is always the same....it's not possible, in my opinion, unless they were to make it more environmentally friendly. So of course that's exactly what they did! Their new Magic GREENER Tape is most impressive, to say the least. They didn't compromise quality or performance from the original Magic Tape. It's super strong and holds beautifully for repairs as well as other projects. The best part, next to its performance & quality, is that it's made from plant based materials making it much kinder to the planet! In addition, their cartridges are also easily refillable making them even more kinder to our planet! Scotch Brand has done it again and we're glad they did!

THE BEST TAPE IS NOW ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY!

It is sticky and holds up well and works well on about any surface. I highly recommend the greener tape to my family and friends and will continue to use the Scotch Magic Greener Tape. This tape is not worth your time - splits - just not good quality.
The regular magic brand is much better.
