[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to protect my new patio cushions and my umbrella. The fabric on my cushions would get soaked from the rain and needed drying for a day or two.
 I sprayed on the Scotchgard Heavy Duty Water Shield and it exceeded my expectations!  The odorless application was rather easy for me.
 I hung my cushions on the clothesline so I could spray both sides. They dried rather quickly and retained their vibrant colors. The fabric still felt comfortable, breathable, and not stiff or plastic feeling.  
I then applied the Scotchgard to my patio table umbrella (after removing it from the table) and rain just beads up and the gravity pulls it down and off. The royal blue shade stayed true to color as well.
 Now when it rains, there are no worries. All I have to do is shake off the water beading on the cushion seats, and they are totally dry and ready to sit on.
I still have enough left to protect my canvas pup tent. I highly recommend this Scotchgard Heavy Duty Water Shield. It works exceptionally well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this on our tent and it's a good thing we did! We went camping and wouldn't you know, it rained on our second day. The water just beaded up and rolled off of our tent. We stayed dry, as did our sleeping bags and supplies. We had a great time and my husband was so happy, that he went out and purchased more, after our trip. We have more tents, different sizes, and he wants to waterproof all of our camping gear. This really works and is well worth buying. We also used some on our patio set, before placing it out on the deck. I am extremely happy with the results. It's a great investment to protect your outdoor furniture, backpacks, hammock, umbrellas, etc. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. You'll be glad that you did!

Great water repellent

I bought the Scotchgard Outdoor Water Shield Spray to re-proof my raincoat which is still in great shape but did not keep me dry anymore. I picked up my 2 cans of spray I had ordered online at the Walmart Store in Northeast, MD on Monday. Sprayed my raincoat front and back, arms and hood and all seams that day. It dried pretty quickly! Wore the coat in pouring rain on my job, I'm a rural letter carrier and part of my route involves standing outside delivering the mail, The water beaded up! and I didn't get wet through my coat! Product works wonderfully! Very impressed!

I thought I would try this for my Summer Chair Cushions.  I only treated one at first to see. It rained that nigh so I wiped em and it was dry.  Then I went and got a picture of water and poured it out on chair.  Yep , drained it off and wiped it dry and cushion was ready to sit in and enjoy

No Soggy Seats on Cushions or You

I bought this to use on my holiday inflatables that are starting to sag. After spraying 1 coat while deflated then spraying inside while inflated, then another coat outside while deflated they look amazing. I will be putting a coat on every year from now on to help keep my inflatables working.

For this $5 item, I made my motorcycle cover waterproof, an old windbreaker waterproof, a pair of boots waterproof, and I still have some left for any other application! All three experienced heavy rainfall and the water just beaded up and rolled right off. I highly refommend this product. You can't beat it for the price!

Amazing!

Works ,used it on flag and flag looks new water runs off, hate to see the condition of some our flags,if they cant be maintained you are more respectful if you dont fly it, for those that paid the price so you could fly it

Try it you might like it

I spray my Coleman Sundome tents with this after every camping trip .  We had a big downpour for several hours on our last trip, and the tents stayed dry.

Great for Nylon Tents!

I ordered this online because I could not find in my store, nor could 2 WM associates!  Once applied to jeans for a ski trip, the chemical smell was so strong, even after 24 hrs, we could not wear them. Instead we re washed and opted for ski bibs.

Too strong a smell

I purchased two cans of this product. I'm sure the product is good, but the spray caps on both cans are TERRIBLE. The connection between the spray cap and tube is loose and half the contents ends up on your hand and then runs down to the floor.
