This game is a classic and a great educational aid.   I purchased it as a holiday gift for my ESL student to play with her 7 year old son, knowing that it will help improve her use of the language, and his ability to assist me in bringing her English up to speed.  

Scrabble can be played at all levels of literacy, and I am sure this will be a great help to both of them, as he has been assisting me in working with her on pronunciation, and this should help with both vocabulary and spelling.

I have always loved Scrabble,  now 2 of my grandsons love it to. They love learning new words and building their points. It's a really great family time game.

This was a Birthday Gift for a 12 year boy and his family. They love it as they are all from  Puerto Rico and it helps them learn new English words and the proper spelling of the words.

Good Quality

I had to walk across town to to the post office to get the big package it was sent in so it wasn't delivered to my door. I guess they couldn't find a smaller box for the game to fit in. The game itself is nice but would have been better if the board & alphabet tile holders  were made out of wood. Considering the price you have to pay for it, I expected it all to be wood. In my area they are trying to get away from having plastics.

I was not please with the Scrabble tiles.  I've never seen uneven thickness of the letters and the tiles where cut at an angle.  Hasbro needs to have better quality control.
