[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a bit of an unusual use case. I'm a grief-worker, someone who helps people move forward after loss, and Sculpey helps me in this work.

I'll hand a client a piece and ask them to think about it as an embodiment of their grief. And since most people don't like how grief feels, I suggest they put it down. Then something causes them to have to pick it up again, and it feels the same, which they don't like so they put it down.

Sculpey, like grief, always feels the same … until we start to tend it. So I have them pick it up again and just hold it. Allow the hands to warm it. Begin to notice how it softens, becomes workable, and can even be molded into something new.

The work I do helps people trend their grief, and as they do, something they over avoided, can become a tool to not only heal but find a richer life on the other side.

Orignial Sculpey is outstanding! We use it in our mental health therapy for children. Working the clay itself is an emotionaly experience, tapping into the nervous system while providing a chance for creativity and high interest. We especially love the concept of delayed gratification. They make the sculpture and there is no rush as the clay stays pliable forever! The baking, then paining, then glazing process allows us to reinforce concepts such as planning, process, and then the achievement of a beautiful, child-created work of art!  LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!

Sculpey Original Oven bake clay is one of the easiest clays to work with especially when you have arthritis. It doesn't take long to become soft enough to manipulate into shapes cutouts or anything your imagination calls for. After baking it becomes a solid of your own creation. It can be left as is or painted with paint or markers etc. I highly recommend Sculpey Clay products.

My daughter has been making the most amazing miniature foods with Sculpey, so I bought her the 1.75 lb package to keep her stocked. Over Christmas break she whipped up a whole shopping cart of food (plus the cart!) and barely made a dent in the block of Sculpey.  Definitely worth buying the large package if you plan on making a lot of pieces.

Wonderful product

The best price for this clay anywhere (online or in stores).  I love the white because you can colourize it with Alcohol Inks, Mica Powders, etc to get the beautiful look of colours.  I will continue to purchase this from WalMart until they change the price, which I hope is NEVER LOL.  I am a jewelry artist and love molding and making pieces from this Sculpey White Polymer Clay.  Do not hesitate to purchase, you will love it, too!!!

great for a mold of a part for work , it did not shrink even though I used 1/2 of the clay the part came out great. I will buy more for future projects at work.

Used for a relief mold

Turns brown in oven. My daughter is getting into sculpting her anime type characters to sell, and I got her this white clay, as I have used this brand. But after drying her clay molds in our oven on the stated heat and time, we were disappointed that all of her characters turned brown, dirty looking. Waste of our $
