I make sculptures, not jewelry. I used to make them with regular Sculpey, but I've recently switched to Sculpey Souffle, and I'm very happy with the results. The sculptures are stronger and less prone to cracking. I love the velvety surface that Souffle has -- it's perfect for the creature sculptures I create.

Whether you're new to polymer clay or more experienced, this product is fantastic. It's easy to shape, doesn't stick to everything, and stays workable without getting too soft. I've made jewelry, small figures, and charms, and every project has turned out great. Really impressed with the consistency!

Perfect for All Skill Levels

I recently used Sculpey Soufflé Oven Bake Clay for a highly detailed, multi-step project that required structural stability, clean edges, and multiple handling stages. The clay conditioned easily, held texture and form well, and baked evenly without distortion.

What stood out most was its reliability during a complex build — the clay maintained its shape, didn't become brittle after baking, and allowed for clean finishing and refinement. That consistency made a challenging project far more manageable.

Soufflé's soft matte finish and predictable performance are exactly what I look for when working on pieces that require precision and durability. It's a dependable clay I trust for both decorative and functional designs.

Handled a Complex Project with Ease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is absolutely incredible!!! I love using this and how flexible it is when it bakes! I highly recommend baking for at minimum of 60 minute instead of the 30 that the package says however, this allows the clay to be bent over 50 times without breaking!

Super Flexy!

I am new to working with clay. I have been a crafter all my life  and I am not sure why I hadnt tried it. But, I was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease and was so longer able to do many of the crafts I loved. My physical therapist suggested trying out clay...and I did! It has become a lifeline for me. Working with it lets that creative part of me continue to express itself...I feel more like the "old" me!🩵 The Souffle line is especially perfect for me. It still gives my hands a good workout as I go through the steps to condition it...but it is just enough softer to let me both condition and create in the same session. The colors are beautiful and are perfect for so many projects and techniques that I will never tire of my favorite new craft. The last thing I will say about Souffle is that I love that even though it was a touch easier to work with, when it has been baked/cured the results are strong and I love being able to confidently share small little handmade treasures with my family and friends@

Souffle is stronger than Parkinsons Disease

I purchased Sculpey Souffle in Cinnamon and Igloo.  They worked so well for my project.  I made gingerbread man Christmas ornaments, and they came out great. The clay was easy to work with, looked great and held up well for my project.

Sculpey Souffle

I love using sculpey souffle for crafts. It is strong but also flexible and light weight. It is great for earrings and I love that it can be baked over and over if you are creating in layers.

My favorite clay

I've used multiple types of sculpey and Souffle is one of my favorite.  I'll use it for everything from jewelry to miniature to worry stones.  Finish off after baking with the UV glaze.

Love this clay

I recently purchased an order of Sculpey Souffle.  It was suggested to me by Tiny Pandora who I take private classes from.  I just love the velvety feel to it and the mobility of it as well.  It's a NEW FAVORITE alongside Sculpey Premo of course.

Lovely feel to it

I have no idea what is up with the new batches of Souffle but it is so sticky and soft that it is unusable.
