Very comfortable to use. Valued priced at Walmart as this writer shopped extensively on internet for the most competitive price, which was a considerable reduction from other offerings. With the separate numbers, takes some experience, but this is just a thought process.

Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard

I am accustomed to and appreciate split keyboards like this one. I like that the keyboard is full size, and yet it is very compact. this is partly because the number keypad has been separated from the keyboard, and can be located independent of the keyboard. I like the fact that it has a calculator key that activates the calculator on your computer, and which then allows you to basically use the number pad as a desktop calculator. The mouse is very easy to use, solid, and very ergonomic to hold. The magnetic base that lifts up the leading edge of the keyboard does tend to fall off here and there, but it's not overly troublesome.

overall, I definitely recommend this keyboard for serious typist, though it is not a full click keyboard, as the keys are touch keys, with very little movement, and so that does take some getting used to, but that's not uncommon these days, and I'm fine with it.

The connection is solid, and there's a space inside the mouse for the small USB-A receiver. battery life seems good, and so far I'm a very satisfied user!

This is better than expected. I am not sure yet about the additional piece for the number pad, but I definitely recommend this for those that have wrist issues. The mouse by itself is amazing.

Have only had a few days, but can tell already I will LOVE this. This set up should be more widely available for less cost, but is worth it to me at the price I paid. My shoulder socket area had been getting sore from other keyboard as was twisting left arm to reach certain keys. With this keyboard removal of the right side num pad and spaced area between the 2 sides of the keyboard means as your fingers press any key, your arm and shoulder stay aligned properly. The wrist pad that is magnetized to the bottom of the keyboard is awesome also.

Best keyboard layout by a mile!

Love this setup... Keys are quiet and responsive. It is replacing my MS natural ergonomic keyboard and it blows the old one away. The mouse is a little difficult to use at first and will take a little getting used to, but your wrist will thank you in the long run. Batteries last a LONG time for being AAA and the ones in the mouse are AA. The size is perfect and takes almost no space at all on my more and more crowded desk. Only thing that would have been better was the ability of the 10 key number-pad to be able to attach somehow when needed. Otherwise, this is a great setup! Very sturdy and made well. Well worth the $$$!!!

The future...

I love everything about this keyboard except for the keys. E key gave out in about 6 months. That is way too soon to be replacing a keyboard at this cost level. Oh how I wish someone would make an ergonomically shaped keyboard with mechanical keys! I have resigned myself to the cheapest keyboard possible for work since no matter how much I spend I'm replacing them every 6 to 8 months and mechanical keyboards are never ergonomic. I do not get why I have to choose one or the other, ergonomics or quality mechanical keys. Why not both?

First, this was supposed to be a "new" item but the box had been opened.  The keyboard and mouse looked like they had been used.  Plus, the mouse is SO bulky.  It's like holding a baseball.  I wanted to like it but it's just not going to work.  Going back for a Logitech keyboard/mouse.

"New" but used and very bulky mouse

I have used Microsoft keyboards for over 30 years, work in a legal office, type all day. Husband replaced my old Microsoft 5000 keyboard for this Sculpt for Mother's Day as it takes up less space on my desk and I love the keys. However, there is one great flaw. The keys on the right side of the keyboard are placed awkwardly! In particular, the shift and enter keys are way too far over, and it makes finding them (without looking) extremely difficult. I have tried and tried to get used to this keyboard, but those flaws are probably going to make me get rid of it. I do love the mouse, however. It's fat and fits the hand well.
