Moved all my photo  on my computer..  over 20,000 pics and vids.  I have other seagates and love them

If only Walmart made it available in the store...it's too bad you have to wait 7-10 days to buy something in order to save a buck.

These hard drives are very slim in size, but they make up in size with the amount of storage you gain from them. They are very easy to format and work very well as an upgrade to your ps4 system.

Very Good External Hard drives

2 TB for under $100 is unheard of except for shopping at Walmart.

Great Value for the Price

I as able to back up EVERYTHING from my laptop in about 2 hrs and it only used .2 TB! I had thousands of pictures and about 25 videos. I'm so glad I finally invested in one since one time our house was broken into and laptop stolen and we lost all our wedding pictures except 4 which were posted on facebook. This is a great price and I can fit many more pictures on it as my baby girl grows up.

Really impressed with how small it is

The hard drive came with both Mac and PC drivers pre-loaded on it. I tried to use the Mac driver, but the software wouldn't run. I emailed Seagate Tech Support, and they told me to reformat the drive for Mac-only use. This worked fine. The pre-loaded Mac driver was supposed to give the user the option to set up the hard drive for use on both Macs and PCs or only on Macs. I've only used the drive once, and it works great. I just can't use the software that was supposedly pre-loaded on it.

Nice, slim portable hard drive

I have not had this hard drive long enough to make an educated Informed review thus the three stars.  The first hard drive I bought was DOA. Do yourself a favor, if you buy one and it is DOA don't bother trying to figure out why. This is a plug-and-play hard drive, if it's going to work it will work. I spent hours trying to figure out if there was a switch to check or something I did wrong. When I finally decided it was not me I took it back and got a second 2 terabyte hard drive which worked flawlessly, plugged and played.  I backed up my whole computer and data verification on the backup and got a clean bill of health.

The first one that I bought I laid the problems at Walmart's feet. The box was opened and I did not notice it until I got it home. Walmart had obviously restocked a defective return and I paid that price.

I did find that when it was plugged into my USB three court it disrupted the function of the second USB three port. I have a Logitech wireless mouse that was plugged into the second USB 3 port. The mouse went haywire and would not work and then it would start jumping around then it would quit working again. As a result I had to unplug the wireless mouse and move it to a USB to port. All in all after moving USB devices around to different ports I was able to download the full backup of my laptop's hard drive to the new Seagate 2 TB hard drive. I still have questions about the two different software's that Seagate has that works with this hard drive. This is all part of the learning curve though I guess.
