Value For Money

Ease Of Installation

So far so good. Has tons of space. 14 TB. Sometimes makes a loud whirring noise when windows explorer recognizes it. But otherwise going well, and working well. Will have to use it for longer to see how long the HDD lasts.

Just got the Item

I'm using this as a Time Machine drive, and so far it works as expected, but it's too new to speak about reliability.

Great price, lots of room

Easy to connect to the Xbox one s, easily recognized by the Xbox one s, easy to move games and apps to the drive

I am using it to back up other drives.  Have used 5 TB of storage.  Did not have any trouble with installation.  Since it plugs into an outlet I did not know it uses a battery.

It was very easy to install, and provides excellent portable storage. I have used it with my desktop and both of my laptops. It is perfect for high-capacity portable storage

So far, so good. It arrived quickly and works out of the box, with no setup. For the price, it's unbeatable.

Huge backup....I have a simple older PC running Win/Linux. Tried some of the online storage including Google but found them cumbersome. This option is solid, even runs my large Plex library with no issues streaming video to large screen TV's and even offsite remote locations. Throws off a little heat (warm to the skin), but very quiet. Also using for full backups, again with no issues. Have only been using for last 6 weeks but have been happy with my purchase.

Huge storage, great value...

Ok so far.  Don't like that it makes a sound when loading the heads but I've heard drives do that before.  Not a concern but my other external drives are silent so I find that annoying but makes no noise in operation.

OK so far

I have tried to chat with Seagate support and they were not able to correct the problem. The drive does not work. It is not able to make a complete backup. Many files and folders are missing and do not migrate. I am requesting a refund!!

Seagate Support not able to make it work

I typically only use Seagate for my storage and operations in general. With that said, I was a bit disappointed when I just received a communication after my purchase that the hard drive only spins at 5400 rpm versus the 7200 rpm that I would need. So if you are looking for better performance versus simple storage, then this may not be the hard drive for you. But Seagate is still top of the line. I never have any issues with their products. I hope that my review helps someone out there. Great day to everyone.
