I will never run out of hard drive storage.but if you download into it with the Xbox X you will have to transfer optimized games to the internal storage or the storage card in the back of the system if you own one of those before you can play them.

Great device if your running our of space like i always seem to be. a must get that actually fits the look of the device with excellent glow lighting effects.

It does what it's supposed to do, provide a lot of extra storage for you Xbox One or Series X or S.  For Series X/S optimized games it a least saves you from having to redownload them, if you move them off internal storage when you're not playing them, because those games can be huge.  It's about as fast as you're going to get for a mechanical drive.  It would be nice if there was a way to turn off the green light, but that's minor, not enough to knock off a star.  

The actual storage space is about 7.2 TB, because drive mfgs measure TB, GB, MB and KB incorrectly as multiples of 1,000 instead of multiple of 1024, which is the correct measure.  I mention this because I see comments all the time, from people on the internet, who don't know that and wonder why they don't get 4TB or 8TB a drive claims on the box.

It's perfect for someone who wants more space for there Xbox series s or x I have both and switch it out between them

The only con is that it wont let you play the xbox x/s series game off of it only the previous gen. so you'll have to transfer games back and fourth from the hard drive to the console. but other than that it has plenty of space.

Exactly what it says - extra game storage. DOES NOT play games directly from this drive. You have to move the game back and forth. basically I had to buy the expansion card too when realistically I probably only needed the expansion card. Itll be nice to have both though!
