Seal'N Peel Removeable Sealant - Transparent, 300 ml MULCO Mulco Zip Seal’N Peel vanilla scent is a removable and transparent thermoplastic sealant. It dries by solvent evaporation. It temporarily seals interior or exterior joints where air can penetrate between two perpendicular surfaces. Can be used around patio doors, windows, air conditioners, etc. The performances of Zip Seal’N Peel as well as its ease of use make it ideal for many uses. Great product

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This caulk is not something i would have picked up off the shelf, the packaging highlites a vanilla scent and the ability to peel it off once used. When im looking for a sealant i want it to be waterproof and to stick to whatever I'm working on.   That said, the product flowed pretty smooth when applied. I also thought it was going to be white, but its clear. So i ised it to seal up an exterior door frame that had some gaps. The seal covered and is currently sticking well to wood and metal. If i had a choice based on visual packaging features and compared to what else is available i would have passed on this product.  Last piece of information is that before is used this product I had it stored unopened in my shed, after a few days at +25C it started to swell and push the bottom seal out. This is not a good feature of product or packaging.

No odors / faint smell

I had a few open gaps around my windows and it sealed very well no more outside air coming in. It  does have a strong smell that last a bit otherwise it works very well and i recommend it.

Very strong smell but it seals great

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This worked really well when helping my parents with their window. Sealed it right up and they're not longer feeling a freeze. However, the smell didn't fade for days. It was a very strong smell despite it being labelled as indoor use.

Works great but doesn't smell good

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This was my first attempt at sealing our countertop gap between it and the wall, will be redoing it, luckily it it seal n' peel. I applied it thinking don't leave it thick if we want to put up a backsplash. So I applied it way too thin, and when trying to scrap it done smoother, with my silicone trowel (make for caulking) I did as tight and close to wall as possible. The clear caulking would peel up easy so you have to do it right the first time when in a smooth surface. When it dried all the way (day or so later) it pulled away from the surfaces and made gaps water can get through again so much redo but way thicker as it shrinks. Product STINKS chemically not at all like vanilla like it states. When used properly works great. Pictures go in reverse, finished product to cleaned up empty gap to old caulking I took out.

Quick drying, apply convex not concave

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was so excited to get this product as we needed to reseal our windows upstairs.  When I first tried to cut the plastic tip to start sealing it was super hard to cut and took me quite a while to do so.  The product markets itself as a Vanilla Scented sealer and upon smelling it I was taken back by how much it smelled like chemicals.  I personally did not get any hints of a vanilla scent.  The product overall was easy to use and dried and sealed well! Let's see how it holds up over the winter.  I wouldn't be opposed to using this product again as Mulco is known for making high quality products.

Not a Fan

Large sized bottle with an easy to apply tip. The product itself should work for what it's intended to keep air away. 

Unfortunately the ‘vanilla scent' is really chemically and I would not want to use this in a room where I need to sleep or spend most of my time. Only time will will how long it lingers for.

Decent product, terrible scent

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used this product as a temporary seal around a drafty window. It was easy to apply with the caulking gun.  It works great to keep the draft out. I like that it peels off easy for when you are ready to do a more permanent fix. I am not sold on the vanilla scent though.

Easy to use and effective.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When I received the sealant, the bottom part was opened, and the sealant had already dried off, so I was not able to test the product. It's very unfortunate as I had planned to test it on a window for the winter.
