It is very smooth. A person that gets hot in their sleep will like it a lot. It has a nice cool feeling. I am 100 percent satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't tell that this has a cooling effect as much with the comforter over it, but it does add comfy cushioning.  It fit my bed correctly and does not slip off.  I have used it for a while with no issues.  It does serve as a protection for my actual mattress in case of any spill, so it gives me more peace of mind.  I've never had a mattress protector before this one, so I am now a fan.  Love that it is soft without being too thick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent the Sealy ProCool Mattress Protector for an exchange of my honest review. Upon opening the package I noticed the mattress pad was quite a bit thinner than mattress pads I have used in the past however, it fit my 14 inch mattress perfectly. It is engineered with a cool touch technology which was an added bonus for me because I seem to have sleeping issues because I am always hot. This cover features a breathable knit top fabric that releases trapped heat and a lofty support of hypoallergenic fiberfill that makes it very comfortable to sleep on. The pad is machine washable and also backed by Sealy's Lifetime warranty which is an added bonus.

It really keeps you cool!

I feel like the material is a little thin, but it does the I did the water test, absolutely nothing goes through, and I love that. I will continue using it to protect my mattress.
