One of the best books I've bought and read in 2025. The male lead was everything I wanted him to be and he's definitely book boyfriend material, his red flag looks green to me. The story was wild and action packed, the plot was there and perfectly balanced with the spice and yearning. The book itself came in great condition and it was beautiful, no damages at all and the sprayed edges are clear with no visible fading.

I bought this book strictly because it's pretty. I saw it and immediately wanted it. I read it and ended up enjoying the story, too. 

The writing is good, and the imagery in the story is as vivid as the cover. The world is unique. Academy settings are done to death, but it still works here. These dragons are not like the others, and these nefarious plots are darker than expected. It's interesting and engaging. 

The FMC is dropped into a new world with no knowledge of how she got there, and everyone wants something from her she's pretty sure she can't give. The story is convoluted, but it gets more interesting with each reveal and keeps the reader guessing what will happen next.

Pretty book, decent story.
