[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always liked the brand Secret and I've recently been trying out aluminium free deodorants that are overall better for you. I was hesitate with the coconut scent as other deodorants have an overpowering fake coconut scent. I was very pleased with the Secret Aluminum free coconut scented deodorant, it wasn't the fake scent, but rather a shower fresh scent that actually lasts and keeps you smelling fresh all day long. I highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a long lasting effective deodorant that outlasts any situation even workouts. A+ product. I hope I get the chance to try helpful and honest products like this one in the future, thank you again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so elated that PINCHme sent me a free Secret Aluminum Free Deodorant. They sent me the scent Coconut and wow it is amazing. Secret Aluminum Free Deodorant is my new favorite. I work 13 hour days so a good deodorant is important and this one lasted me all day. I was smelling like coconuts and it was amazing! It is hard to find a great deodorant that is also aluminum free since aluminum is not good for your skin I always try to find deodorant with out it but many do not seem to work. I am so thankful to have found Secret Aluminum Free Deodorant it is a life saver so my long work days!

Amazing!

First of all, I VERY rarely write reviews. I switched to natural deodorant 3 years ago. I think that some of the negative reviews for this product come from folks who are switching from an antiperspirant to just a deodorant. There is a detox period where you are pretty sure you are sweating 3 times as much. It gets better, sometimes it takes as much as 2 weeks. But I found that the natural deodorants did fail very quickly, particularly in the face of a southern summer. So I saw this and decided to try it. I am THRILLED. For me this is just as good as an antiperspirant with the benefits of aluminum free. There are odor fighting and drying agents in this that really work well, and it goes on so smooth and clear. The natural deodorants were also ruining the underarms on my tops. I am very happy.

I've been using for a couple months now it it scented very nice and rarely have to reapply unless sweating pretty bad. Overall great results and product is pretty close to a 5 star.

I purchased this deodorant because it was aluminum free and I liked that you used essential oils. Although this deodorant provides excellent odour protection, my underarms became extremely irritated. They have raised red bumps and are painful to touch, not to mention impossible to shave :(

Sore underarms

I got this 3 days ago. I know upon research and reviews here that I could have an odor switching from other secret products that did contain aluminum, etc BUT what I was not expecting was the burning and rash that I have developed. No, I haven't shaved under my arms before, durning or after the use of this product so it's not a shave burn / reaction, etc. I'm also in my 30s and have never once had any skin issues or reactions to any other products, so this is new territory!

 I'm really bummed that I can smell myself within 1 hour of applying and that I burn under the arms all day after use. I really kept giving it a try for 2 more days because the rash didn't appear initially, just the “burning” sensation. I know every body is different so I'm guessing this is just not the product for my body and needs and that saddens me. Hopefully secret can discover another aluminum free product that reacts more kindly to my body.

Rash and smelly

I have used Secret for years and have always gotten good results. I was very excited when I saw they came out with aluminum free. I bout two sticks, one for me and one for my daughter. I wore it to work the next day and when i got home i keep smelling B.O. i thought it was my husband at first then I realized i was smelling myself. I was so embarrassed that I might have had a B.O. smell at work. I threw away both sticks and i will never use it again. I have never had that problem before.
