Ordered new heating element for 35-yr-old Whirlpool wall oven.  Order arrived quickly and heating element was easy to install ourselves -- oven works again!

Fits and connects like the original. Not sure if it means anything, but this new one is 7mm in diameter, and the old one is 8mm in diameter. Gets red in some areas sooner than other areas as it heats up, although it looks fairly uniform after it is fully heated. My oven is self cleaning, so this element gets a bigger work-out than only baking. Only time will tell.
