Natural sounding headphone at a good price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable headphone with a neutral sound profile. Out of the box experience is solid. I find myself using them for upwards of 6-7 hours without feeling fatigued. 

This is genuinely a good headphone that should cost way more than it does (imo).

Daughter loves them, says bass is excellent and headphones are always comfortable.  She likes the fact that they deliver great sound without blocking out other sounds in the room in case something is happening that she needs to be aware of.  Previous experience with Sennheiser guided this purchase.

Excellent sound and comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality with these cans is amazing. I've owned Sennheiser headphones before but they weren't of this caliber. My previous Sennheiser's were great but these HD 560S's are at a whole new level. I'm hearing sounds in music that I've never heard before. Vocal's sound like your ears are right in front of the artist mouth. Instruments sound like you are right in front of them. I was afraid I would regret spending this much on a set of can's but I'm proud to say this was a great purchase.  Be an Audiohead, and you'll be a happy individual.

Audiophile Ready

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About as good as they get without breaking the bank. These have a very wide open sound stage. Rich mids, strong highs, bass is solid too. Being open back you can also hear whats going on around you, which is great if you don't like being shut off from the world. The downside though is sound leaking... if you're playing something loud, people around you will hear it too. The build quality is excellent, as with most Sennheiser headphones. The ear pads are plush and soft with a velour type material. They breath nicely, unlike my Sony bluetooth headphones that make my ears over heat. All in all, an excellent and happy purchase.

Love these headphones

I find the Sennheiser HD560S to be a pleasure to listen to, with plenty to offer, including controlled lows, mids, and highs that deliver an all-around pleasurable HD sound. They can also handle high volumes well, with minimal distortion. The kicks in dance music sound full, punchy, and well controlled, and the highs don't sound overdramatic and are at a proper HD level with the rest of the sound. Overall, I find the Sennheiser HD560S a pleasure to use, whether listening to music in my free time—be it dance, easy listening, or rock—or for my music production hobby, as they are very accurate and detailed. If there is one thing I would like to see improved, it would be the overall build, as I think they could be a little sturdier and more robust, but other than that, they are great headphones.

A pleasure to listen to with lots to offer

The sound quality of these is amazing but the build quality is questionable and the comfort is a bit lacking. These are extremely stiff and extremely tight headphones with very little articulation. I can see the glue holding the foam pad in place on the headband and I'm confident it will deteriorate rather fast.

I got these as a complement to my Audio Technica ATH M40x headphones which were around the same price point and the difference is stark. The fake leather on the M40x headphones broke down rapidly but the overall design is so much more comfortable and they actually swivel and articulate, a full 90° to the side for storage and almost a full 180º up and down. In contrast the 560s headphones barely move at all and honestly feel like they're gripping my head too tightly—as far as I know I do NOT have an unusually large skull. 

IT's a shame these are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time because the sound quality is really enjoyable.
