I got these as an early Christmas present for my boyfriend after he did some research and found these to be the ones he wanted. He was impressed and says they're phenomenal! I'm so happy he liked them :)

I read all the reviews and did some research and fell on these. Yes, they're a couple of years old but the music quality that comes out of them is simply beautiful in every way. You can hear every single part of the song like it's supposed to sound. Phenomenal job, Sennheiser

Get lost in the music

Best sound quality on the market. 
For under $500 you will not find better sound quality. These things are unreal. I've never been someone that thinks there is a massive difference in headphones once you get past the $100 range, but with the Momentum 4's, I am blown away. 

I have Sony xm5s, Bose QC 45s, and Apple Airpods, so I've done a lot of comparing. The Momentum 4's are the clear winners if you value sound quality.

Also, the battery life is insane on the Momentum 4's! Sixty (60) hours! I go 1-2 months without ever having to charge the Momentum 4's, which is unreal and such a nice perk. 

Also the touch sensory controls on the side of the head phones is very convenient. The right headphone works like a touchscreen and allows you to do different things quickly and efficiently (while you're wearing them) by way of taps and swipes, and by expanding and opening your fingers.  This is a feature you don't really know you need until you experience the convenience it provides.

The noise cancelation is not the strongest, but that's not something I've ever even cared about because the superior sound quality makes everything so clear that noise cancelation is something you just don't think about (if that makes sense). Listening to a song on the Momentum 4's (compared to other models) makes it seem as if you're hearing a song for the first time. You just pick up so much more and everything is extraordinarily clear.

Purchase these if you value sound quality.

These are my first overhead headphones and I'm obsessed. So comfortable and the sound is amazing. Their app lets you personalize everything to have the best listening experience for whatever you're listening to. The battery life has also been incredible. I've used them for so long now and haven't charged them in well over a week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best headphones you can ask for. Great sound quality. Perfect intelligence features that notice when to active the headphones. But i can say these handphones are sensitive to touch and the only way to get them to turn off is by themselves

They sound ok. It is not outstanding, but ok. The ears hurt after a while. The noise cancellation is good, but not excellent. In the app you have the option to configure different options.
For the price, I was expecting a better sound.

Good, but not outstanding.

Sound good. Connectivity bad. The auto head detection just doesn't work and you'll find yourself manually switching between devices, even if you just put the head phones down and want to play browser/social media audio out of your phone you'll have to manually change devices.  It worked well at first but a month or two in it doesn't more work more often than it does.  

This is more of a pain because of the auto head detection doesn't work then the battery will drain before the next time you try to use them.  

I wish they worked as well as other headphones as I tried because for this price range the sound is pretty decent, but now I'm wishing I bought a different set.

I am a professional videographer and have used Senheiser products for 30 years, from mics to headphones. I purchased a pair of Momentum 4 SE for my video editing work. However 9 months in and the ANC function failed. I sent them back for a warranty repair and after 3 months I have no idea where my headphones are, I can no longer recommend Senheiser as a professional company and will look to move to Rode,Sony or Bose for my professional work.

Not great, very unreliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am considering returning item due to its cutting in and out and a sporadic crackling noise. Not what I expected from a set of headphones that cost this much.

Poor physical design.

After less than a week of use my daughters momentum 4 fell apart at the swivel point.
By comparison, she has previously had a couple of pairs of the 450BT which have seen heavy use and travel for several years without any physical issues (I replaced the battery in one pair)

About to have the return discussion with the shop and maybe sennheiser support.

Really disappointed in these.
