I normally do my own nails without the guides everyone uses then do a very fine line with Kiss glitter fine tip nail polish and comes out great. But doing so usually takes me about 2 hours between having so many layers and drying time.
I purchased these and was skeptical to say the least. I only had about 30 minutes to do my nails. I'm usually pretty good with decals though as I've done many water decals over the years. I have natural nails that I get compliments on all the time as they look like gel nails.
I found these were easy to use. First apply a very thin layer of a pink manicure tint nail polish (very thin and let dry). The first one was a tiny bit tricky to hold but always hold from the end of nail tip and try to give it a little bit of a curve. Apply (yes once or twice you can pull them up and realign them for the perfect position) and then take a very fine nail file and file easy around the tip in a downward motion as if file was going to pull it down from the top to curve underneath the nail. Do this until it all separates from the nail bed. Easily (making sure you have it entirely filed off) pull off. Add 2 layers of clear (make sure the first one is thin and make sure it dries entirely before adding the second coat). Literally took me about 20 minutes in all and lasted about a week. I was pleased to say the least. I AM buying more of these.

This product is horrible. The tips are extremely fragile, yet sticky. The sizes make no sense as there are several tips for huge thumbs, and a few for the other fingers, none that fit the pinky right. Cutting them to size leaves most torn, stuck to the scissors. The instructions say to file excess in a downward motion, doing that will tear the tip that is on the nail. I finally figured if I break off the excess with my nail and the very carefully file it, it worked. Put on the top coat and made sure I "seal" the top of my nail. Less than 24 hours later the tips were breaking and peeling off. I'd rather pay the price for a salon French manicure, or I get the kit with the white polish. This is not worth my time and money.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Horrible!!!!!!!! Chips easily. Sensational should give better instructions on how to apply although that probably wouldn't have mattered. You must place tips on nails allow stick for several minutes before you start to use the Emory board to remove the excess material. This took a lot of trial and error. Very tedious. And it still chipped next day.

Horrible product

I hate to write a bad review but the nail polish strips were dry and cracking so I was unable to apply them to my nail. Had to return them.

Disappointed
