This stuff is great. Cleans well and does not leave a fragrance taste on plastic or silicone items like the Cascade did. I like being able to lick a spoon and taste what I am cooking rather than soap fragrance. Not to mention I am sure my kids prefer milk without added soap fragrance flavor.

I ordered this detergent because it is unscented. My dishes and utensils come out just as clean as cascade but without the sickening lemon scent that can't be washed away and permeates all plastic and rubber materials. I will probably donate my unused cascade to charity.

The quest for a effective, non-toxic, scent-free dishwasher detergent stops here. As one of the few dishwasher detergents that is independently A-rated from EWG and ALSO relatively easy to find, you can feel good about using this product and not leaving harsh chemical residue behind on your dishes(!!). It's also fragrance-free, which is perfect. Ask yourself why dishwasher detergent needs to have a pervasive, artificial lemon (or whatever) smell that sticks around on your dishes, and whether you really want to be eating that? My guess is, if you're reading this, you probably agree that the answer is, it doesn't, and you don't want to eat that. Combine that with the fact that this stuff really works (novel, isn't it?), it doesn't come in a petroleum-derived plastic bottle, and from a carbon-footprint standpoint, you're not supporting trucking heavy water-based detergents around all over the country, and you have yourself a great product.  Give it a try - I don't think you'll be disappointed (unless you want your dishes to smell like fake lemons).

Simple, fragrance free, non-toxic, and IT WORKS!

Yes this is pricey however honestly my dishes come out flawlessly clean, no steaks, no after smell, so soap scum residue. I wanted to give this non toxic chemical free product a try as I was not satisfied at all with previous detergents and also concerned about the ingredients. I was skeptical with how well it would actually clean but find this to be an outstanding product and highly recommend.

Dirty Dishes Diligently Dishwashed

I wanted a product that has less toxic ingredients but still effect as many of the non toxic brands are not effective. In addition I need a powder as my dishwasher has trouble  dissolving the packs

Love this product.  No streaking, water marks or sludge in your dishwasher.
This powder is much better than liquid and I don't even use a drying agent.

The best dishwasher detergent I have tried.

Have used this for quite a few years because it is one of only a few that are fragrance free
 Works well and no smell, but it is hard to find.  So glad yo find it at Walmart.

Gets my dishes clean, and it keeps MY fingerprint on the environment a little softer. Discovering that it works better then the non-environmentally  friendly products, I'll never go back to C*sc*de. Wonderful product. Isn't the planet worth the effort to preserve and save it?

My dishwasher's performance, a midrange Maytag, was never anything to boast about, even after switching to "platinum" pods .  I kept the filter clean and boosted water temperature , but it didn't improve.  I read a lot about what's in homemade dishwasher powders and decided to give this product a try.  Instant improvement!
Dishes are clean at normal water temperature, the weird smell inside the dishwasher is gone, and now I'm not thinking about replacing it for a more expensive model.

Why did I wait so long?

False advertizing. Listing says 8x75oz, but then says qty 2 75oz packages...upon receipt it's actually only 2x 45oz packages...Detailing with a return was is an immense hassle, zero effort was made to compensate for the illegal mistake made by Walmart and the seller. Avoid this seller AT ALL COSTS.
