My light had been coming on and off for a while and son in law used his little machine and it coded this. So got on internet and red reviews and thought what the heck see if it will work and i put in about 1/4 tank (couldn't afford to fill up at the time) and light went out after few hours and hasnt been on since and it has been about 2 months. So yes 5 stars for me!!

Ive been using this for over 2 years and spent more money on this item than I'd like to admit. I have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra 2.0L. check engine light came on 2 years ago P0420. around 115,000 miles. I have used this every 3 months for the last 2 years. I have replaced my canister purge valve, O2 sensors, spark plugs and coils. I'm currently at 159,000 miles. The light still continues to come on from time to time and I just shut it off using my obd2. then I go and buy bottle and put it in and I'm good to go for a bit. I live in Pennsylvania and we have to get our car inspected every year. I've passed 2023, 24 %26 25 using this. 

After you put this in your full gas tank, your light will turn off on its own after driving a bit. I drive a lot on the turnpike and when my light is on, it puts me on edge which is why I shut mine off after checking to make sure it's still the same p0420 code. obviously in my case, it's not fixing the problem, just prolonging the inevitable. 

Replacing a catalytic converter can cost two grand  So it's worth spending 20 bucks to try it out. Even if your light doesn't come on, it's still a good option for preventative care.

Had a catalytic converter code which turned on my check engine light and my mechanic recommended me to use this before paying to replace and after like 3 days the check engine light turned off and was able to take it to emissions. Definitely recommend to use before replacing your catalytic converter.

Cleans the entire fuel system including O2 sensors and the catalytic converters. Good product if you use it BEFORE you have problems. Probably won't clean a heavily dirty converter. I use it once a year on both my high mileage vehicles and have never had any converter problems.

Must buy!!! This product has always cleared the check engine light for codes P0400 and P0496. For my vehicle the light has been cleared within 30 to 140 miles of driving. Simply amazing, it helped me!

I put a full bottle in my car with a full tank of gas, after i drove about 150 miles or so,  I noticed the engine light did not come back on when i started the car one day. Now, is this more of a permanent solution or will my engine light come back on, i guess we shall see.

i have used this product before to clean out the catalytic converters  and put out the check engine light. It works for about six months before you have to use it again. Just be sure to follow the directions. I wait till I have a quarter of a tank of gas before I use it and that is what the directions call for. Its a good product. Dont  use the cheaper stuff. This works.

This product has a good reputation and is made by a good company so far it has improved the gas mileage but hasn't done anything with the exhaust and the filters.the packaging did say it would take several fill ups to start working correctly so I am waiting to see if it works like they claim it is supposed to do,so I cannot recommend this yet

Waiting for expectations

Product not 100% effective by California emissions requirements.  In California, vehicles require  emission components that are specifically California CARB compliant or legal : oxygen sensors,MAFS, MAPS, catalytic converters, fine tuned up engine,and use best quality spark plugs, coils, plug wires, air and fuel filter,.. ask your mechanic... but I do swear by the quality of DuraLube vehicle additives for engine-transmissions-fuel ..very good brand been around a long time.

CALIFORNIA CARB EMISSIONS STANDARDS

Bought product as a first and cheapest step to alleviate a CEL code. After two bottles and 300 miles the CEL is still illuminated. I'm on to step two in my fix for the vehicle. My review should in no way stop anyone from buying this product. My vehicle needs more attention to fix because the previous owner waited too long to solve the problem. Based on how I could tell the change in engine performance with this product means this should fix the  P0420 code if used when the code first hits.

Worked for half a tank in my F150 but the next time I filled up without this additive the check engine light came right back on. I followed the instructions but it was not a fix at all. This is extremely overpriced snake oil.
