This motor fits Sevylor and other boats with transom or motor mount fittings and is also compatible with the Sevylor 12V Rechargeable Battery or other marine batteries.

Simply mount the Sevylor 12V Trolling Motor onto your boat and you’re ready to go. The 18.5 in. aluminum shaft provides ample room for height adjustments, so the motor controls are always comfortably close. It will provide up to 18 lb. of thrust with two forward and two reverse speeds. The two blade propeller is specially designed so it won’t get stuck on weeds in the water.

I always wished I had a trolling motor for my kayak. To be loyal to Sevylor,
After owning a 'Fiji' kayak for over seven years and a 'Tahiti' kayak for two.
I got this new Sevylor trolling motor. And it's great. But I order the 18in. And
I got one that has a 24 1/2in. post. I looked it up the order form and the box
it came in, they both say that it has a 18in. post. No time for me to return it.
I just cut the post to the right size. It's all good now. Rob... {:-)

Worked Great just enough power for our needs

Electric boat motor

I side-mounted mine on an Ocean Kayak Scrambler 11' and it is awesome. Very powerful and will tow my wife's kayak even on low speed. Extremely light and easy to mount. This motor is made for lightweight boats so don't be put off by any negative reviews by people who obviously tried to use it on a heavier watercraft than it was intended for. I love it! I use a Group 24 Marine Battery but a small lawn tractor battery would be fine. It is very energy efficient.

Perfect for a kayak!

took it out sun., worked good. Handle is a little short for use on a small boat. Had to make an extension. Surprisingly good power for a little motor. Pin holding the motor clamp on is a little flimsy, replaced it with a bolt and lock nut. OVER all happy with the operation of unit.

Get's the job done!

I ordered the trolling motor for a Sevylor inflatable I purchased without a motor.  I was satisfied with the motor but would have liked more information about mounting the motor on the boat.

Motor was satisfactory

Just got this motor and was surprised at how light it was. I bought for the Sevylor Colorado Hunting & fishing Kayak. Easy to install once you figure out how to adjust the height everything is good. This motor has two speeds for both the forward and reverse positions. I use a large 12v Deep cycle battery with a battery box power center with two AC outlets. I use the slow speed when looking for hot spots and use the second speed when its time to get home and I am pushing the time limit get get home and go to work. For such a light motor 18 lbs of thrust is fast enough for the inflatable kayak I am in. All I can say is this little motor is perfect for the kayak I use for fishing. Perfect fit.

It gets the job done

The first one I got locked up after only three trips out using it. Walmart gave me my money back and I got another one hoping that I just got a bad one. I have used this one twice and so far so good. It is the perfect size for the inflatable boats and canoes on flat water.
