You need to purchase the activator for this and it is very low peroxide like 2%. Mix the two 1:1 apply to dry hair 25 min. Rinse out. I don't reshampoo because I shampoo, let my hair naturally before applying.
This steel gray I purchased for a friend and helped her use it on white hair.She has short hair so one bottle was plenty for good coverage. She's very happy with color, she felt her white hair washed out her pale skin too much. I have to say it really looks good on her.

I am new to the Redkin product line, I have colored my hair with it for the past 9 months. I always get compliments  on my hair now.  Several have stated that they thought I had it professionally done.  I was a bit intimidated at first mixing my own color, but it wasn't difficult at all. I am very pleased. I will never return to a box kit again. Redkin is the way to go for a quality color.

When highlighting hair to a level 9 on medium brown hair.  Mix 1oz of 5na with 1oz of clear and 1 oz of  7nw  on roots to get rid of any unwanted brassiness at roots. Use 9 gi  , crystal clear and  9 nb  on mids thru ends to get a beautiful beige blonde    I5na is a great go to when you have unwanted brassiness and want a beige or ashy blonde  look on hair lifted light blonde using highlights or balayage method.  Even a capful of 5na mixed with levels 7 thru 10 will work wonders to add more beige or ash blonde to your color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know how to rate this by itself, but I'll give it a go. This is the EQ Gloss version of toner.
I began using this to tone down the red in my natural hair, as traditional toner  lightens hair, and therefore has a tendency to bring out brassiness. I stopped lightening my hair about 2 years ago, and have been using this in place of traditional toner for at least 6 months, and it's okay. It doesn't last very long and tends to disagree with my very fine hair. I was hoping that it wouldn't be damaging given its nature, but ALAS, it may be worse than the Pulp Riot toner I'm accustomed to. I've been using (Olaplex) purple conditioner in the interim, and it seems to be doing the majority of the heavy lifting. Their shampoo does not agree with my non-color treated hair. 
In essence, this product works, but it is very temporary. I find myself at a crossroads between investing a lot more time, money, and effort into my hair than when I was platinum, or giving up and learning to live with my natural color.

There Has to be a Better Way

Both items I received had the lot number and other identifying information scratched off of the label. Not sure if these are counterfeit or expired or otherwise unsafe to use, but removing information like this from the label is a huge red flag. The bottle on the left is from another seller. The two on the right are from this seller. You can compare and see the numbers are scratched off.
