Our 3 year old daughter has learned now to properly cast and reel in with this pole! It's amazing! She can now cast out about 20-25 feet and she's only 3!! This has really taught her the mechanics of fishing and she loves it! We love this pole!

excellent exactly as described I would say definitely for children three and older we bought it for a 2 year old and she's a little young but it is absolutely amazing for the price and is exactly what you want

It was a cheap style.  I have had other children fishing poles.  This was more of a toy.

This is a really crappy fishing pole.  I know these kids poles are usually crappy anyway, but this one wouldn't even reel in these small bream!  I'd say maybe pick a different brand kids pole, if available, because this one was completely useless.

First kit we received was completely broken.  Reel would not work at all.
