[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a bit obsessed with this Shark HyperAir hair dryer. From the moment I unboxed this I was falling in love. The box has everything neatly laid out so it's easy to see and find paired with info cards and guides simply explaining what each piece does and how it should be use with your hair and look you are trying to achieve.

I have long and thick curly hair so I was all about the diffuser. The IQ Curl Defining Diffuser has a deep bowl that providing fast, even drying from root to tip with its amazing extendable prongs. There is a simple "switch" that allows you to extend and retract the prongs depending on what you're trying to do - reach your roots or target your ends. The setting for using this was easy to identify - air 1, heat 1.

The hair dryer's IQ technology combines high velocity heated air and ionized air for extra-fast drying with no heat damage. I have thick, long, curly hair that easily retains heat and often find myself getting burned by my own hair when drying it, but that didn't happen with this hair dryer! I was left with light, shiny, no-frizz curls. One other really neat feature of this this HyperAir hair dryer is the "Cool Shot" button that helps close your hair cuticles and smooth the hair at the end of drying it for a smooth frizz-less finish.

From a functional perspective the cord of the Shark HyperAir hair dryer is great. It's a nice length that is thick and sturdy featuring productive coil around the base of the hair dryer that helps avoid it from breaking with regular use. I really appreciated this detail - it was not overlooked by me!

All-in-all it's hard to find something bad to say about this. I am pleasantly surprise with the quality of this product and have already found myself bragging to my friends and sister about it. I recommend giving it a try!

This Curly Girl Is Obsessed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know when I get a Shark product that I am getting a quality product. I have shark Vacuums but I never had thought about Shark for a blow dryer for my hair. But I'm so glad I found this Shark HyperAIR! It's sleek, modern design will not disappoint. When you open the box you are given a QR code that has wonderful tips and tricks on using the blow dryer as well as styling helps. It comes with an attachment for every type of hair, straight, wavy, and curly. It comes with a two and one concentrator, a styling brush, and a curl defining diffuser. But best of all it dries really fast. This is a great blow dryer.

Wow! Wow! Shark did it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very thick long curly hair and usually hate how long it takes to blow dry. The shark hyper air with diffuser attachment made drying my hair in almost half the time and my curls looked more defined and less frizzy. The dryer is light and comfortable to hold and use. The brush attachment makes blowing out my daughters straight hair easy and fast.

So fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hair dryer a lot. The overall look is amazing, the color and the shape. I just love it. My favorite thing about it are all the attachments. It came with 3 attachments : IQ 2 in 1 concentrator ( dry and shape), the IQ styling brush( dry straighten and shine) and the IQ curl defining diffuser (dry curls from root to tips). The dryer has 3 buttons on the back and one on the front. The top left button is regulating IQ air flow levels. It has 3 different levels: low, medium and high. The top right button is regulating the temperature and has 3 levels as well: low, medium and high. After inserting the attachment the IQ styler will automatically adjust to the right settings (heat and air flow) you can also adjust them manually if you want to. On the front of the dryer there is a button "cool shot" when pressed the temperature lights are off and the air that is coming out is cool.
The IQ curl defining diffuser is my favorite attachment as it can dry your curls from the root without damaging them. It is shaped like a bowl and has adjustable prongs. If you have short hair, set the prongs up short and set them up long for long hair.
I also like the IQ styling brush which can do a 360 degree rotation. It is very helpful as it can help you dry the back of your hair. It also has smoothing and detangling bristles. The little black cleaning tool is very helpful for the removal of hair stuck in the brush attachment.

Amazing hair dryer

I used a cheap blow dryer for years and never thought anything of it…. Until I was gifted the shark hyperAIR fast-drying blow dryer. The sifference I have seen in not only blow dry time but in shine after blow drying is incredible! I'm someone who washes my hair everyday, so this thing gets a lot of use and I have had any issues for the two years I've had it! I love that it has different settings for heat and airflow, and the attachments help so much with styling! I
seriously could not go without this styler!

Must have blow dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hair dryer by Shark is fantastic and works great! The multiple attachments for different hair styles is genius! I love the multiple adjustments to heat and airflow and the smart technology that auto adjusts to each attachment. My favorite attachment is the attachment for curls. I have naturally curly hair and this is the best hair dryer I have used. It's works great to straighten my hair to. I love it!

Work fantastic!

This blow drys your hair really fast.It is a bit noisy for my liking and it blows super hard. I love the options of the settings. I love the packaging. It feels very heavy and luxurious and cute but simple. It comes with so many attachables. That is so helpful and convenient.

Quake hair dry

I excitedly bought this but was disappointed that it felt way too hot for me even with diffusing on the lowest heat and air settings! I compared the Shark's low temp to my old Conair ionic hair dryer and the low setting on the Shark was nearly the same temp as the high setting on the Conair! (152F vs 156F) No one would recommend diffusing curly hair on the highest heat setting with a regular dryer so I'm not sure how this one is better since low is basically equivalent to high temp on other hair dryers! No wonder it dries hair so fast! Is it supposed to be this hot? Did I get a defective one?

Mine is too HOT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did not work for my hair at all. First of all it's heavy, it takes a long time to dry my hair. There was a few hair that was in the brush. It did not leave my hair straight or store sleek. It was so awkward to hold it... I did the 360 and it's very awkward ... My hand was touching the cool button while I was drying my hair...no good! I was keeping my fingers crossed... hoping I would like this product on my hair. This is a no for me... not even the bag to put it in. I wish a comb came with this and another attachment that will curl my hair. It's not hot enough for my curly hair.

How convenient it begins to overheat continuously near the return/refund date. I'm stuck with this garbage product. I wasn't even using it on a daily basis. Purchased September 30 and December 20 it began acting up. It won't even run for two minutes. I'm so angry about it. Since I couldn't get it back by December 30, due to the holiday and shipping, I'm stuck with it. I can Only exchange it. I've been through this routine before… stuck with junk. The product is bad. It is also loud and a heavy hairdryer.

So sorry I bought this hair dryer.
