I have always liked sharks. Prefer them over Dyson any day. They are so easy to use and clean. The filters are easy as well compare to other vacuums I have used.

I previously owned a shark rocket. It was the first generation one they made. I loved it. Over years of sucking up stray cat litter, it began to not pick it up as well. The canister door to empty had broken off but the hubby was able to fix it. I probably didn't keep the filters as clean as I should have. It finally split the hose into that connects into the floor brush. My husband taped it but every other time, he would have to retape. We decided on this one because it's very similar but pet friendly. What they mean by that is the suction is far more powerful. The led lights are also a plus. We are very satisfied.

It is top heavy. All the working parts on top of handle. For a 90 year old handicap it has all 10%23 on top. But works great for my care giver.  Cleans really well.

i CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!!!!  I have lung disease. This Shark has made my life so much easier.  EVERYTHING abST out this is FIRCLASS and I love this SOOOO much.

This vacuum is great!  It has good suction and is easy to use.  I still have a cordless stick vac from Dyson for quick cleanups but this is great for area rugs and furniture.  Glad I purchased it!

heavier than my Dyson stick vac. but I need electric to sweep my carpet, good suction,  it is a stick, but electric, great beater head with light, nice swivel head

Great suction, good power, lightweight, and swivel head and light are two features I appreciate.  I might have been willing to add a few lbs for the benefit of a larger dirt cup.  I like having the corded version for lengthy run-time but the dirt cup has the cord attached so you have to unplug from socket almost every time you empty dirt cup.  Suppose it just means I need to vacuum more often!

Compact and efficient

wanted stick vac for hard floors.  review said long cord......NOT LONG unable to finish most rooms without changing plugs.   review said gets under furniture... my furniture is not on stilts!
the hardware attaching the stick to the floor vacuum part is too high allow the vacuum to get no more than the littlest part of the front under furniture, and I have midcentury modern furniture.  does not fit in triangular spaces and is heavy and unwieldly even though the head flops around with ease.
might have good power, but in the end I see less dog hair upon emptying cup than i did with the little stick vac that fit under all the furniture.  could be good product, but not a product that I needed.  Heavy and unwieldy on stairs!

I’ve owned several Shark vacuums in the past, and unfortunately this model has been the biggest disappointment. The suction is extremely weak and it barely picks up anything. I’m very disappointed with its performance . For the price, it performs far below expectations. I cannot recommend this vacuum.
