Have not had this product long enough to rate it. I have used it in my car and for small spills around the house. It was a nice surprise to see how powerful it is and the run time is very good before I had to charge it. I liked it well enough that I will order 2 more for gifts to friends.

Buying a cordless was intimidating on line, reading reviews on products...not knowing if people were honest...etc. I tell you I am extremely happy with the product so far. One thing I like is the charge time. No more than 6 hours...so it is not constantly using electricity like so many items we leave plugged in all the time. I can give the car a good cleaning about 3 times before I need to charge it, and we have a large Chrysler van, AND a large dog!! The other thing I really like are the attachments. I am pleasantly surprised that we got such a good product for the price we paid. I would think another 20 bucks on the price would still be VERY worth it !! All in all...extremely pleased. ..and would definitely recommend this product to others!!!

Excellent cordless product

I've had a Dyson handheld for years. The vacuum was alright, but cost a ton and never held a charge very long. A call with Dyson said they had lifetime warranty on all vacuums BUT mine! We purchased the Shark cordless handheld and it blows the Dyson away. Has long run time on single charge and great suction. We now have one on boat and one in house.

Best little handheld!

Reviewed all the price options against the "Best of Show " rating and finding that Walmart had the best pricing for the best product , ordered their on- line delivery .
Amazingly , it was delivered the following day !! Remarkable!

Great experience of product and Walmert service

The only problem is trying to put it back in the charging stand. It is a bit difficult. I am sure with time I'll get the hang of it. But for the occasional little mess, MUCH easier than pulling out the big vac, or even the smaller corded one we use. We are happy with it.

WOW.  I love  my Shark SV780 Pet Perfect II 18V Cordless Handheld Vacuum.  I don't have a pet.  But I am 85 yrs. young and love this hand held vac for vacuuming chairs, lampshades....even my couch.  And the attachments are great.   The vacuum has a lot of power and attachments for anything you need to vacuum.  I looked at a lot of hand held vacuums and am glad I chose this one.

Perfect product and right price.

Before I bought this product, like many I looked around and read the reviews. Specifically this item in particular, I saw quite a few reviews saying that the suction was weak and the battery life was bad. Taking my chances, I bought this item anyways. When I finally had it in my possession, the instructions say to first charge it before you use it, which I did (I wonder if some people didn't and that is why they have bad battery life). When I first used it, it was great! Suction was powerful, though there are a few times I had to go over the same spot, and the battery is fine (instructions also say to leave it off the charger when not in use until it dies. This is because if you do not use it for a long period of time and it's on the charger, it starts to rely on it and battery life is only minutes when u start using it again). I don't use it very often, maybe once or twice a week for maybe 5 minutes at a time. Although it has vacuum in the name, I consider it a dust buster so I use it as such (maybe that's another reason people say the battery life is bad, they use it as they would a regular vacuum, 20+ minutes at a time).

To put it bluntly, I would definitely recommend this product for anyone that is looking for spot cleaning some dirt up. It comes with a few different tips, depending on the area you are vacuuming up, plus I love the color!=]

Does its job

We have had ours for a year and loved it at first until we found we had to empty the dust cup way too often and it's messy and hard to empty. It needs to be shook out then dust and hair gets trapped in the seams of the filter so we have to get a small brush and brush the rest out. It is just messy. And the button that releases the front to get to the filter broke off so we had to duck tape it. It picks up great and has alot of suction but the dust cup design is poor

Works great but dust cup is a bother

It does have adequate suction and not too heavy for a cordless. However instructions state that you cannot leave the unit on charger except when charging it.  This means that you do not know how much charge is left until it stops ! I don't remember when I could not buy a cordless device that could be left in charger without over charging.

Charger problem

when I saw this item I thought it was going to be something worth while, I was going to use it for my stairs.
after purchasing and receiving the item I was happy with the design and the structure of it but when I went to use it the brush roll stopped when it touch the carpet in the section was pretty weak.
Plus its a mess to clean up. It claims to be easy to clean but it really is not, you have to shake the dust off the filter and wash it after every use which I found pretty tedious since their claim is "Easy to Clean" so... I say keep your money and buy something better this thing is only with 5$ not 50$ or 60$...! I ended up buying the new shark lift away vacuum and live it!!! I gybe that 10 stars out of five and it works amazing on my stairs;-)

not worth it!!!

I'm not usually one to say negative things about a product, but I was so excited when I got this. I followed the directions for charging it (the box and the directions say two different things about charging the vacuum) and the first time I used it I instantly fell in love with how well it worked on cleaning my stairs of pet hair. Unfortunately, I have only used it twice since then because even after following charging directions it doesn't even hold its charge for 10 minutes. I am returning it today for a vacuum that has a lithium ion battery. I do NOT recommend this item.

Works great, doesn't stay charged
