Have not had this product long enough to rate it. I have used it in my car and for small spills around the house. It was a nice surprise to see how powerful it is and the run time is very good before I had to charge it. I liked it well enough that I will order 2 more for gifts to friends.

I lost my hand held sweeper, the best one I have ever had in my 44 years of marriage. It was lost in a car accident, coming home from my daughters, over the Christmas holidays.

I just had to replace the best hand sweeper

I have rotator cuff problems and lifting my big vacuum is often too much for me. This little guy steps in and does the job whether is crumbs on the counter or floor or cat hair on the sofa.
It is light weight and easy to use the accesories.
The only problem would be that it doesn't hold a lot of dirt! But then, it is small.

Great little helper!

Before I bought this product, like many I looked around and read the reviews. Specifically this item in particular, I saw quite a few reviews saying that the suction was weak and the battery life was bad. Taking my chances, I bought this item anyways. When I finally had it in my possession, the instructions say to first charge it before you use it, which I did (I wonder if some people didn't and that is why they have bad battery life). When I first used it, it was great! Suction was powerful, though there are a few times I had to go over the same spot, and the battery is fine (instructions also say to leave it off the charger when not in use until it dies. This is because if you do not use it for a long period of time and it's on the charger, it starts to rely on it and battery life is only minutes when u start using it again). I don't use it very often, maybe once or twice a week for maybe 5 minutes at a time. Although it has vacuum in the name, I consider it a dust buster so I use it as such (maybe that's another reason people say the battery life is bad, they use it as they would a regular vacuum, 20+ minutes at a time).

To put it bluntly, I would definitely recommend this product for anyone that is looking for spot cleaning some dirt up. It comes with a few different tips, depending on the area you are vacuuming up, plus I love the color!=]

Does its job

The only problem is trying to put it back in the charging stand. It is a bit difficult. I am sure with time I'll get the hang of it. But for the occasional little mess, MUCH easier than pulling out the big vac, or even the smaller corded one we use. We are happy with it.

Works great for the purpose for which it was acqui

I don't usually write reviews, but this particular Shark handheld vacuum is worth it! I had originally bought the lesser Shark model, the green one, for twenty dollars cheaper, and it was garbage in comparison with this one! This SV780 Shark, the lavender one, has so much more suction. Spend the extra money! Plus, this shark has a station to place the Shark while it is being charged. It's GREAT!

Reviewed all the price options against the "Best of Show " rating and finding that Walmart had the best pricing for the best product , ordered their on- line delivery .
Amazingly , it was delivered the following day !! Remarkable!

Great experience of product and Walmert service

We have had ours for a year and loved it at first until we found we had to empty the dust cup way too often and it's messy and hard to empty. It needs to be shook out then dust and hair gets trapped in the seams of the filter so we have to get a small brush and brush the rest out. It is just messy. And the button that releases the front to get to the filter broke off so we had to duck tape it. It picks up great and has alot of suction but the dust cup design is poor

Works great but dust cup is a bother

The Shark does a great job on cat hair and is MUCH better at everything than my old dust buster. Picking up crumbs & powdery dry spills are easy. The nits that kept me from giving 5 stars:
- Could use longer lasting lithium battery.
- A smart-charger would mean you could store vac in base without damaging battery.
- A longer & thinner attchment tool would give better reach into narrow spaces. (between car seats)

Good little vac

when I saw this item I thought it was going to be something worth while, I was going to use it for my stairs.
after purchasing and receiving the item I was happy with the design and the structure of it but when I went to use it the brush roll stopped when it touch the carpet in the section was pretty weak.
Plus its a mess to clean up. It claims to be easy to clean but it really is not, you have to shake the dust off the filter and wash it after every use which I found pretty tedious since their claim is "Easy to Clean" so... I say keep your money and buy something better this thing is only with 5$ not 50$ or 60$...! I ended up buying the new shark lift away vacuum and live it!!! I gybe that 10 stars out of five and it works amazing on my stairs;-)

not worth it!!!

I'm not usually one to say negative things about a product, but I was so excited when I got this. I followed the directions for charging it (the box and the directions say two different things about charging the vacuum) and the first time I used it I instantly fell in love with how well it worked on cleaning my stairs of pet hair. Unfortunately, I have only used it twice since then because even after following charging directions it doesn't even hold its charge for 10 minutes. I am returning it today for a vacuum that has a lithium ion battery. I do NOT recommend this item.
