I know that there are complaints about it not being able to stand up by itself and that the collection cup is small, but I don't really care about those "issues."  This vacuum is very powerful and pulls up an alarming amount of dirt out of my carpet!  It's a great value and I love it!  It's great!

Bought this to use on wood floors throughout the house. First I dust mop then roll out the Rocket to vacuum along the mop boards, nooks and crannies.  I use just the stick, none of the attachments.  The vacuum is light weight, a blessing, and so easy to remove the stick with one click to vacuum the felt on furniture legs and click the stick back on an keep on rocking to the next room.  Cake walk in my mind.  The attachments offer many more applications for this machine than I use, which makes it so very versatile.  The dust compartment is easy to clean out, too.  I stuffed paper towel scraps in the two channels in the dust box to make the dirt clean out easier.  I hang the machine on a hook in the closet for next time.  No fuss no muss.  This vacuum has plenty of power. Do not mistake it for a shop vac.

Most excellent

I have used this model vacuum for over five years now. I used to clean houses and this vacuum was up for the job and lasted for years! When the front clip to the dustbin broke, Shark honored their warranty and sent me an entirely new top! So when it came time to replace this vacuum, I immediately ordered another one just like it! I am so pleased with the new attachments and the superior customer service offered by Shark! I will remain a loyal customer to Shark for creating such an excellent, dependable product! Thank you!

Always Dependable

The Shark Rocket corded vacuum has worked out very well for use in my small condo on the beach. It picks up sand and much more plus it's easy to stow away under my bed. 
After use, I empty the debris chamber, clean the roller and stow it away. 
I should mention that it runs a bit loud   but I have sensitive ears so it may be okay for others. I would still buy it again, though.

Perfect for small condo

Very pleased with the Shark Rocket , and the self-cleaning roller is the best. I had a Dyson for years, and cleaning the brush roller was a nightmare. I finally ended up stripping the gears altogether, had to use the small upolstery attachment instead. I also like that the Shark has a cord, no recharging necessary. It's the best of the best.

Lightweight, so easy to use

I always had a small hand held vacuum that I used on the tile floors in the bathrooms.  It died.  We read the consumer reports and this was rated very highly.  It picks up all the hair on the bathroom floors - I got on my hands and knees to check.  The attachments are easy to use.  I also use it on the steps.  I am very pleased with this vacuum.

Vacuums great

This is my third purchase of this vacuum.  The other two are an earlier model. I have one on the ground floor and one is in a vacation home.  This one is for the second floor in our main home. My only disappointment is that the dust cup is not removable for emptying; the entire motor must be taken off to empty the accumulated dust.

A Lightweight, Powerful Vacuum

Pros: light weight, good on hard floors, floor attachment available for hard floor surfaces. Cord is a decent length. 

Cons: Have to set it down on floor if you need to stop vacuuming on account of it being too heavy. Or disconnect canister from top. 
* Canister can only be wiped out and not rinsed out since its permanently  attached with cord and it's a safety hazard—disappointing. 
Does not clean carpet well. 
This model does not have a bending elbow on metal tube so the vacuum can collapse for easy storage

Works on hard floors not so well on carpet

The item is great the only major issue I have is that Walmart gave me a tracking number that was completely wrong and said the package was delivered for over a week and then when I replied back to find out they got me in touch with the actual seller who then gave me another tracking number that was right and with his it arrived on time.

I bough the same stick vacuum four years ago and loved it. Made well-good quality for the money. Used it through a remodel and it still works. This one was nothing like it. Poor quality. Returned it.
