I had one exactly like this for years and it finally stopped working.  I wasn't able to find anyone who works on a 5-disc CD player, so I bought this one  to replace it.  I am old-school and still enjoy listening to all my CD's.   The sound is awesome and since I already had the same Sharp disc player before, set-up was easy peasy.

A One-of-a-Kind Treasure!

There are not many options for 5 disc CD players.  I found that the Sharp CD-BH950 240W 5-Disc Mini Shelf Speaker System  was easy to setup, has room for 5 CD's, can play a cassette, and the FM stations  sound great thanks to the wire antenna, has Bluetooth and USB.  As an amateur, the sound is terrific - I just wanted to hit play and hear 5 albums of music.  Day one, but so far so good.  If you are planning to use this to sleep (it comes with a sleep timer) I noticed when the disc changes from one to another, as a light sleeper, I would consider this to be 'loud'.  However, I'm listening to it during the day and am not bothered by the 'noise' of it changing cd drawers.  Very happy with what I am hearing!

Excellent price for this small stereo with the huge sound!  I'm glad to still find a 5disc CD changer with a cassette player, radio,  AND Bluetooth for my Sirius XM subscription.  Best of all worlds!  Some plastic seems a bit thin, plus not a fan of the high gloss black finish on the front. (Matte would be better all around )  Setup was simple enough with provided printed instructions in English and the remote. Looking forward to many hours of listening!

Very easy to order through the internet plus my purchase was $60 cheaper than Amazon.

The stereo sounds good but is difficult to operate with the instructions given.  It would have been easier if it was in a book type.  Can’t get it to random all the CDs just one at a time which is a hassle.

I would not recommend this item.  I had it for a couple of weeks and it played only a few times.
After that would not play or even turn on.  Returned it still waiting for my refund.
