My son loves it and we can play with this drone and lose track of time. I love the sleek design of the control, it fits very nic in your hand. It's also a great price value for the quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this drone to play with and enjoy with my 5 year old son. We are by no means experts or pilots, so this seemed like a nice entry-level drone. We absolutely love it and it is far more "like the real thing" than we imagined. The set up was very easy and the remote is very easy to use also. The drone itself is responsive and easy to fly. It comes with a charger with drone that can easily be hooked up to your average phone charger. We love it!

Let the fun begin

Highly suggest to start out in a open field. Comes with blade guards which work out well for crashes. Super fun, Definitely recommend.

It's really good for indoor and good on non windy days out side. It would be nice if it had altitude hold though. Also it is very durable with the prop guards on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this drone. We have a middle school right up the street from us, and we take the drone up there and we fly it all the time. The controllers are really easy for him to understand and to use. I just wish the battery lasted a little bit longer. This is his first drone and he got the hang of it pretty easy. He crashed it once. But it's made pretty good it just has a couple scratches on it

Just be careful on a windy day as it will be more difficult to control. It was blown away easy on the slightly windy day we took it out. In comparison to several other drones we have it was a little harder to manage than the others; maybe because it is fast. Not sure. Flying it inside the house was much more manageable.  A nice option for those just starting out their drone experience as the price is very reasonable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very powerful drone especially for it's size. The only issue would be it last 30 mins before you have to charge it again. The stunt button on the control is pretty sweet. It comes with extra blades in case you lose some.

Awesome drone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has been wanting a drone for the longest time. We are rookies, so this seemed like a good one to start with. This is small (5 inches) and I am honestly thrilled that it has a rechargeable battery. The remote is very sensitive, so it takes a while to get the hang of it. Read the directions instead of trying to guess what the controls do. We flew it outdoors, on a calm day, in an open area - because it can be hard to control, I imagine it would be difficult to navigate it around trees and other obstructions. We haven't mastered the stunts yet, but this one can do flips. The LED lights on it give it a little extra excitement and you can fly it once it gets darker outside. Although we have no other drones to compare it to, we are having fun with this!

Fun for our first drone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The drone DX 5 inch is a ok built smaller drone. It doesn't self level very easy so definitely not idea for kids and I had a little trouble learning to control it as well. It does look nice so thats a plus. It's about a inch and a fourth high so its pretty small and compact. It has 4 spinning blades to help it fly but if it goes to far out you may not get it back. It charges by a usb so very simple to charge the drone it's self but the remote does take 6 AA batteries. The one thing that would make it so much better is if it was easier to control at least for a adult.

hard to control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drone proved slightly difficult to steer with the controller. It is definitely for indoor use only as one of the propellers kept coming off. After reading and following the instructions, it was not easy to get the drone to take off or stay in the air for more than 30 seconds at a time.
