it works ,, but of course i donna care how pretty i do it .. see my photo .. for those reviews to say it does not work ,, you need to read the instructions ... in addition ,, one reviewer posted the tip come out .. well that ok , i just stuck it back in ,, and i then saw  how thin watery the paint is ,,, in order to flow to writing tip ... but if you read my review here ... here is my tip ... i bet you can just refill with white paint when you take the tip off when it run out... just make sure it is not thick but real runny .. 

so far for a few days ,, the paint is nice and white and sticks ,, and not rubbing off, ,, i bet it will last for long time to make it fade now .. oh oh and one more tip ,,,when i put the cover back on the pen  ,, i then sealed it with scotch tape ,, hopefully to make a better seal ...

I have tried several of these paint pens over the years because I need the white for visibility on cutting lines. when they work they are nice but they either dry up fast or just stop working

I had to soak the tip in acetone for the ink to flow.  Pen was purchased to use on keyboard to write on new key alphas, had seen this product recommended for this purpose.

Does not work, wipes off within hours of applying (and appropriate dry time).

Waste of money and have ordered keyboard stickers instead.

Be prepared for it to not work.

This pen worked at first if you follow instructions on YouTube. Then after a short time using then pen when you prime it unfortunately it pools on where you primed it. I use a paper plate to do this. Disappointed because it worked very well on my project, but now is unusable.

Worked fine at first.

Used it to color 5 small 10lb kettle bells. Only had to prime it once or twice for the first 4, the 5th bell however found the marker not setting any oil down. When I primed it to finish it sprung a massive leak and has ruined the job, the nib is already coming out. This marker is NOT worth it. Doesn't even last through one small job and makes a huge mess. Avoid!

Ruins project and clothes, breaks w/ 1st use!

I bought two pens, followed instructions explicitly and could never get them to work properly.  Finally, with some patience and coaxing, I managed to extract a runny drop on scrap paper and used the tip to apply it to my drawing.  Next time I'll just buy artists' paint and a small brush.

Not again

I keep giving these Sharpie paint pens a chance and I keep regretting it. It's impossible to get them to work right - either no paint comes out or a huge blob of paint spurts out and leaves a mess on your work. I really can't recommend these paint pens, they just don't work.

Cannot Recommend

I don't know how this extra fine tip oil pen sharpie has the sharpie name. it is hot garbage. after ten minutes of messing with them to get the paint flowing, it is a hassle to keep it flowing. this is the second one I purchased,the tip fell out on the first one and made a real mess. luckily it wasn't inside my car.

sharpie should fix this product or 86 it. not worthy of the name. 

I don't know how this product has a 4.1 star rating. reading the reviews it should reflect a 1.4 star rating. definitely some review stars shenanigans going on.

don't buy! I wouldn't take these if they were free.

This was the most useless, inoperable, messy, broken piece of junk I've ever tried to use. It went strait into the trash after attempting to use it! Not only did the ink not flow correctly, but it dumped ink everywhere, then the tip fell out and broke into 2 pieces. I did exactly what the instructions said to do! It would not flow, and then the paint overflowed around the whole tip insert. Then that tip fell out entirely! leaving a mess on the practice piece of paper I used explicitly to test it out. As the tip insert broke into two pieces.  I'm just glad I had the common sense not to test it on my real project! This is the worst waste of money excuse for a useful art product, that I've ever come across in my long artistic journey! It wasn't worth the hassle of trying to return it. It went straight into the trash bin! Totally Worthless Junk! Save your self the money and hassle!

Complete Waste of Time and Money!

I bought two and neither one of them had it felt tipped so I couldn't mark anything. I will be returning them for a refund and find somewhere else to purchase one.
