it works ,, but of course i donna care how pretty i do it .. see my photo .. for those reviews to say it does not work ,, you need to read the instructions ... in addition ,, one reviewer posted the tip come out .. well that ok , i just stuck it back in ,, and i then saw  how thin watery the paint is ,,, in order to flow to writing tip ... but if you read my review here ... here is my tip ... i bet you can just refill with white paint when you take the tip off when it run out... just make sure it is not thick but real runny .. 

so far for a few days ,, the paint is nice and white and sticks ,, and not rubbing off, ,, i bet it will last for long time to make it fade now .. oh oh and one more tip ,,,when i put the cover back on the pen  ,, i then sealed it with scotch tape ,, hopefully to make a better seal ...

Great Quality

I'm glad I took a chance on this Sharpie white permanent paint pen. I needed to redraw the lines on my chalkboard wall calendar, and it worked out well enough.  (Probably should've practiced on something else first, as I did mess up in a couple of areas.)
I had been using colored chalk erasable markers previously, but when erasing those marks, the colors stained the white lines. So I tried to remove the colors with diluted vinegar which was working but also removing the white lines. Lol
HUGE THANKS-to the guy whose review made it all worth it…look for his 5-star review with the picture of the golf club, where he re-drew the lines on all of his clubs. His method and explanation will tell you all you need to know about how to use this pen. It took a minute to get mine started, but once it did, I had little issue with it. 
Shake it good and for longer than you think is enough. Press the tip “once”against a piece of cardboard until the paint flows. (I actually had to press it down a few times. The tip popped out a couple of times but it goes right back in. Don't try to draw or write, just let the paint flow and go slow.
I re-did the lines. and left one undone to show what it looked like before I started. The lines aren't perfect, but it was my first try! It dries pretty quickly.  I messed up the letters, too. 🤣

It does work! Practice (should) makes perfect

It's a nice pen and fine tip really helps.
However, it is a little tricky to get it to work again after the first use. The tip came out of the pen.
Makes nice clean lines, but it doesn't last for things you will handle a lot.
I got it to print the ABC's back on my keyboard for the ones faded. Hubby complained some letters were gone (he doesn't type often so he hen pecks and needs the letters)
Most have faded already and it's only been 3 days.
It might be annoying to redo them so often, but at least the paint dries fast

Good pen, but...

The pen worked fine the first time I used it.  Then a week or two later when I went to use it again I couldn't get it to write at all.  I tried several different times and I would get nothing then all of a sudden a big blob of ink would come out, but it still wouldn't write.  I spent probably 15 minutes trying and trying to get it to work, but each time the same thing - nothing then a big blob of ink.
A very expensive one-time use pen.  This is not a failure on Walmart, it's Sharpie that needs to fix their pen.

One time use only.

The extra fine tip clogs up easily, and then floods out of the sides, above the tip, and too much paint comes out, and you have to spread it around before it starts to dry. Maybe it was just the one I bought, but I'll never even try again. Stick with medium point, you can easily get the fine line with pressure variance. And I have plenty of experience with medium, so I am certain I am not using it incorrectly.

Good quality, bad production.

Used it to color 5 small 10lb kettle bells. Only had to prime it once or twice for the first 4, the 5th bell however found the marker not setting any oil down. When I primed it to finish it sprung a massive leak and has ruined the job, the nib is already coming out. This marker is NOT worth it. Doesn't even last through one small job and makes a huge mess. Avoid!

Ruins project and clothes, breaks w/ 1st use!

I bought two pens, followed instructions explicitly and could never get them to work properly.  Finally, with some patience and coaxing, I managed to extract a runny drop on scrap paper and used the tip to apply it to my drawing.  Next time I'll just buy artists' paint and a small brush.

Not again

First of all, this isn't a marker. This has a hard plastic retractable tip that opens a chamber full of paint when pressure is put on it. Because of this design, you can't regulate the flow of the paint and it either pours out into a puddle or barely trickles down making writing impossible.  It's a poor design and I don't recommend it.
