i journal a lot. and this is my preferred pen. they write smoothly, and i dont have to bear down hard. my husband got me hooked on these ink pens because he uses them at work. He gave them to me, originally,  as a stocking stuffer they made a great gifts.

Had a check stolen in the mail a while back, someone got it, tremendously added money to it and cashed it.  Never send a check out in the mail without signing with one of these and also since our work checks are printed on our printer, we also write, "Payment to Company" in the memo section of the check.  No more of that happening!!

Never write a check without these!!

I do alot of writing for my job so iI try to stock up when these pens go on sale. They dont bleed through the paper. They dry fast so no worries about smudging or smearing.

Smooth writing

I was visiting my son recently who works from a home office. I overheard him saying something  about not being able to find an ink pen. I had bought a large set with funny office sayings on them last year but he didn't know where they went, [wife liked them so well, she kept them!]. So I decided to try to find him some good office pens and decided on these Sharpie ones, cause I recognize that as a good brand. Upon opening them, all I heard is what good pens these were, write smoothly, comfortable to hold/grip, etc. The clarity of how well they write was also mentioned, supposedly much better in comparison with other gel pens.

Yes to Sharpie!

The ink is buttery smooth with zero skipping, lays down bold vivid lines, barely ghosts, and almost never bleeds through—even on cheap notebook paper. It dries crazy fast so I don’t smear anything as a lefty, the rubber barrel feels great in hand, and the click is super satisfying. Bonus: they’re refillable, which almost nothing at this price is.

Awesome pens

They glide across the page smoothly. They're a bit pricey for my budget personally, but worth every penny. They have a good amount of ink. I write a LOT with these, and only a couple of pens (out of maybe 20 pens total) went dry on me. Pro Tip: If you want your markers and pens to last longer, do not store them vertically. Always store them on a flat even surface, horizontally. They're not too heavy, my hands tend to hurt easily, but I don't have problems with these pens.

My absolute favorite pens!

I've never considered myself to be a "pen person," that is, someone who is loyal to a certain brand or type of pen. 

My children's piano instructor accidentally left one of these pens at our house, though, and I was amazed at how wonderful they wrote!  I ordered a peck for myself, and I am very pleased. 

The ink color is very bold and the pen is easy to grip.  Most of the time the pen glides smoothly, yet sometimes it does get hung up on the paper a bit. 

I highly recommend these pins if you're looking for something that you will enjoy writing with!

I'm not a "pen person," but these are great!

The only thing I dislike is that I ordered extra fine point 0.5mm but I received the medium point 0.7mm. It wasn't worth the hassle to return them so I just kept them. They work fine, I just prefer a finer point pen. Also, the Sharpie S-gel pens have a tendency to dry up quickly or start skipping when writing. There will be plenty of ink in the pen but occasionally the pens will start skipping when writing as if the ink is running out.

I like these pens

I only rated satisfaction as low because they weren't in stock. Walmart is usually very good about letting me know on the website if stock is low, but this one gave me no indication.  No big deal, I just had to go elsewhere and I love that typically I get everything I need from one store.

I usually love Sharpie products but this time I bought “fine” tip and and the ink barely comes out, and it is so rough feeling. Both pens are that way. Very scratchy feeling. I could deal with that if the ink were readable! I truly wasted my money on this.
