I do love the grip as it is hard for me to hold on to things sometimes. They are very easy to write with, I do need to let the ink dry a little but I do prefer this style of pen over others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the Sharpie Gel pen and it is my new favorite pen! I love how the ink flows and looks consistent throughout my writing. I also love how quickly it dries so I don’t have smudges on my paper. I haven’t had any issues with ink drying out or getting clogged which is a big plus. I would definitely recommend these pens!

They work well in cold enviroments dont freeze like cheaper pens do.

These are nice but I was hoping they would be a little juicier

Basic Ink Pens

Smooth, dark and constant flow of ink and an attractive looking barrel.  My only complaint is that the downward swirling pattern on the grip actually seems to make the pen more slippery in my hands.   In fact it made it so uncomfortable that I felt the need to write this review about it.

I've used zebra pens before and really liked them so I assumed I would like these as well but unfortunately I don't. I used each color for a week and just couldn't get use to how I had to hold the pens to get them to write nicely. I had to hold the pen straight up and down while writing to get good ink flow. If I held them at a slant like most people do when they write, the ink wasn't coming out as dark as it did when holding it up right. The pens are fine point tip pens so I'm assuming maybe thats why they don't write as well, the ink doesn't flow to the tip to well. The grip of the pen is comfortable, it fits nicely in my hand and doesn't slip. There is a clip so that the pens can be clipped onto a shirt, apron, etc. In each package you receive 6 black pens, 4 blue pens, and 2 red pens and the price is decent for this 12 pack of pens. Unfortunately due to how you have to hold the pens to get them to write nicely I would not recommend them to friends and family but that doesnt mean someone else may not like them. I could have just received a bad batch, you will never know until you try them yourselves.

Not my top choice of pen

Zebra Pen

While the Sharpies are writing, they are everything I wanted. I couldn't ask for a better pen. The part I hate is they don't last long. Originally I thought maybe it was just a bad pen or bad batch. Based on multiple purchases at a variety of places, my opinion is that you'd have an excellent pen if the creators find a way to increase the writing life of it.
