I bought these because my kid's school has theme dress up days for different holidays and events. I can't always find the item of clothing I'm looking for in the correct theme. It can be fun to make your own and include your child if you have time. It washes surprisingly well.

I had bought to touch up a bleach spot on a pink sweatshirt, easy to use, have washed and it didn't come out. I just wish that they had a light pink because sadly.. now I have a dark pink ink spot on my sweatshirt. I might just dye the whole sweatshirt now a dark pink. haha

To dye or not to dye

These are great! I don't know if the fabric markers are a new product from sharpie but I hope they continue to make them and add more variety of colors. I've been wanting to draw and customize pictures on clothing and these are precise, vivid and easy to use. The color doesn't bleed the way a regular sharpie would so you can do bold thick lines or thin lines without a mess. Highly recommend and keeping my fingers crossed for more colors to be added.

Great quality and vivid color

I absolutely LOVE these markers! I use them to draw on Converse and it always turns out fantastic! It does not fade over time, even after getting absolutely soaked and all of the colors are very pigmented!

After learning about my skin's sensitivity and the need to have a fresh pillowcase each night, I purchased these markers. I labeled the days of the week on each of the pillowcases. I have washed them and the stain did not so much as dull. If your skin is ultra sensitive and you need to keep track of your pillowcases, this is one really great thing to do.

Great markers for making lasting stain

Works great on fabric!! An color last along time after wash after wash! I highly recommend these Sharpie permitted fabric markers!  In this pick I posted,I changed coffee stains into a creepy looking vicious dog of sum kind?... lol ...  just one thing thoe Sharpie should really come out with more colors,my pic cud of came out alot better if I had more colors to work with.... I'll be waiting on those more colors Sharpie!!!!

I painted a white shirt for my grandson. It was a colorful shirt for a special day at school. The colors were bright, When I used two colors (one on top of another) it didn't run together, just changed the shade of it. The shirt was beautiful and he got a lot of compliments. Love the tip of the marker. It is like a small brush. Love the price also!

If you're looking to customize sneakers, canvas bags, or t-shirts, these are the gold standard for ease of use. Unlike traditional fabric paints, they feel just like a standard marker, giving you much better control for fine lines and detail work.
​Pros: The brush tip is versatile—you can do thick strokes or thin outlines easily. The ink is permanent, doesn't require heat-setting to stay put, and is impressively resistant to fading in the wash.
​Cons: On thinner fabrics, the ink can "bleed" or spread slightly beyond your lines, so it takes a light hand. They also work best on light colors; the ink isn't opaque enough to show up on dark or black fabrics.
​Bottom Line: A fantastic tool for DIY fashion projects. They are reliable, vibrant, and much less messy than using a brush and bottled fabric paint.

Why was there not a white? I didn't have time to go get a separate white and had  to revamp my entire project.  So disappointing.  The paint markers work well as long as you don't need to cover multiple shirts. Not enough for what I needed. The tips are more like markers, not brushes.
