Smell

This shampoo is my favorite so far. It not only is natural and non-toxic but it makes my hair look better when I wash with it. It makes my hair look healthy, moisturized but non-oily, and I get compliments. I'm leaving this review for people who have no idea what shampoo is good for them. You can't go wrong with this one. I brush my hair while shampooing also to get the blood flowing in my scalp with all the nutrients in this conditioning shampoo. This shampoo lessens my frizz, make my hair more manageable, and is better than any other shampoo I've used.

I'm a woman and I bought this for myself.  Love the smell.  It doesn't lather much but it cleansed my long hair great and left it soft and shiny.  I do use a conditioner afterward to get rid of tangles (but like I said, I do have long hair).  I've been smelling it all day and it smells great!! I also use the utility soap and love that as well.

Works as advertised. Wish it came in larger bottle.

A good shampoo

This product is not only good for men. It is great for women also. I love it!!!!! It is found under products for men so I had been unable to find it. I contacted the company and was so glad to find that it was still available.

Women too!

This shampoo smells good, not to flowery like most feminine shampoo's and it's not to masculine as it is for men.  This shampoo does not strip my hair of natural oils, however it leaves my hair very soft and manageable.  I found this shampoo on sale at Target for maybe 4.99, I love it and wished I had bought the other bottles as well.  When I went back to purchase more they were all gone and now they don't sale it anymore.  I'm glad to know that I can order it online and don't mind paying $7.99, if it wasn't on sale I would have never tried it.  This is the best shampoo I have ever tried, and it's good for my whole family.

Healthy, and all Natural!

All of the Three Butters products I recently discovered as my new favorites where I would have planned on using for a lifetime. I wish I knew why it was discontinued!

You don't need a lot so this should last a while. I don't like the scent. It smells like though, it's more musky than earthy. I won't buy it again because of the scent.

Cleans but smells generic

I generally really like Shea Moisture's products. Unfortunately this "shampoo" was a let down. 
PROS:
1. Great fragrance
2. Quality, natural ingredients
3. Does seem to clean my hair without over-drying scalp

CONS:
1. Expensive. Heads up, this bottle is small!
2. Name is misleading. I think this should more accurately be called a co-wash. 
3. The directions for use are also misleading. It seems like they must have just pulled the language from another label. It says to lather into hair. This product does not lather at all. I would say you can "smooth" it into your hair 
4. Because of #3, you have to use a lot to actually cover all your hair with product. Hence, making it even more expensive.
