I decided to try this after the Power Greens Reconstructor didn't really help with my breakage. My ends were breaking off when I touched it and just falling out when I combed it but I saw much less breakage after using this once even tho I didnt use it properly. Also added moisture to my 4b hair. I like that this isn't a strong protein treatment so I feel comfortable using it at home without harming my hair.

My hair is colored.  I think I have 4b to 4C very coarse hair.  When my hair is wet, it is really wavy and curly, but when it dries without a product it is more of an afro.  I have used this protein treatment twice, 2 weeks a part.  Each time after using this product, I used a conditioner afterwards.  My hair is typically very dry, but after this product, it really softens and defines my curls even before I apply my follow up 
conditioner.  My hair loves this protein treatment!  However, I tried this on my daughter's hair who has, I think, more 3c- 4a hair.  Her hair became slightly hard after this protein treatmtent, even after applying a conditioner afterwards. So, it may not be for everyone, but definitely it is a great product for my hair. I will be putting this protein treatment in my hair care routine!

I absolutely love this product!

Little background on my hair: it's bleached and to be quite frank, a little fried. I had gone to Walmart a couple of times to see if I could find anything to really help my hair and so far, nothing had worked. I tried so many different hair masks and nothing really did the trick. It felt great when my hair was wet but then when it dried, it felt insanely dry. My cousin had mentioned this brand to me and told me she had tried and it made her hair feel so good (her hair is actually more fried than mine lol) so I decided to give this a shot. After I washed it out, it felt so nice. Then I decided to let it air dry and holy cow. My hair doesn't feel dry, or brittle. I can actually run my fingers through my hair without my fingers getting stuck. 10/10 recommend for anyone that wants to bring their hair back to life.

I'm in love!!!

I have had my trial and error with Shea Moisture, not saying that their products don't work because they definitely do, but it has been a long time coming with me finding the specific line that caters to my hair and gives me everything i need. Thats exactly what happened when i found this protein treatment, I literally went back to the store the next day and bought the rest of the line. My only issue now is that this line is only giving me 75% life BECAUSE YOU NEED TO ADD A MOISTURIZING MILK/CREAM AND A DEEP CONDITIONER! I am still using my shea butter extra moisturizing transitioning milk because that is my staple styler hands down, but if this line added one and a deep conditioner to swap weekly with the protein treatment to prevent protein overload, I promise i wont ever buy anything else. My hair has changed so much since using the shampoo and the protein treatment. I use the split end balm occasionally and the leave-in and conditioner i use every now and then but not weekly like the others and that is only because i deep condition every week instead of regular conditioner, and I use milks instead of leave ins as they do better for my low porosity hair, but i still find use for them my wash and gos just wont last as long. This line will be my main go to for ever and it will always be in my closet at ALL times if they can add a few more products. PLEASEEE expand this line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AMAZING!!!!

I actually enjoy using this protein treatment. It is up the par. I didnt need much to apply to my hair and it definitely was not as think as the conditioner, but think enough to apply with no problem. I applied the treatment on one side of my hair to notice the difference in the use of this product. Luckily, I was able to notice that my curls was brought back to life more than the conditioner did. My ends did not feel rough like it normally does. The protein treatment definitely smell the same as its shampoo and conditioner, I used from its line, Manuka Honey & Yogurt, Hydrate + Repair. I would say that the protein treatment is my favorite product out the whole line.

Great Protein Treatment!

I have 2B-2C waves and high porosity hair. This product is the best thing I've ever used on my hair. I have to watch myself because I'll want to use it too much! My curls are so defined and shiny. The protein in this makes so much difference for me. I have recommended it to every friend that I have that has curly hair. This is a game changer!!!

Holy Grail Product

This protein treatment served as an amazing deep conditioner. It strengthened my dry brittle hair providing me with so much shine, moisture and hydration. I kept this on my hair for 20 mins and rinsed with cool water. It served as the best foundation for my wash n go. If you're looking to restore your dry hair, I strongly recommend this products.

Magic for your hair

This protein treatment is definitely worth the cost. I recently bleached and dyed my hair all on the say day, and my hair was curly up like, usual. Today, I washed my hair and used this product afterwards,  my hair was regaining back to it's curling pattern.

Worth it

I have type 2c + 3a curls. I stopped using heat on my hair a month ago and cut off a lot of it because i've been straightening it for four years and sis, I have tried so many products and this gave me ringlet curls that I have never known I had. If you are thinking about buying this, send it. My hair has also never been softer. AND the scent. Like y'all really knocked it out of the park with this one. I just bought the shampoo from the line and i'm hoping it pulls through as well :) !! Girl, try this treatment

Transformed my curls

I could definitely see my curls spring up after using this product, but upon further inspection of the label, the product I purchased does not have the same ingredient list listed here on website. The new formula of this product has two types of waxes, and if you follow the CGM it is NOT Curly Girl approved now. I thought that since the other reviews saying the same thing about the waxes were almost a year old that the ingredients listed on the website would be current. Wish they would go back to the old formula.

Great, but contains waxes

The ingredients list presented is out of date. The formulation has been changed and wax has been added. What WAS an awesome product is now turning my (2c/3a) hair into a wax coated mess. If you follow the "curly girl method" this is no longer approved
