This formulation looked like it would work for my hair, but like others have stated this shampoo leaves my hair coated and not clean feeling.  It felt greasy in fact and dry at the same time?  This was a bad choice on my part. Most of sheamoistures'  lineup doesn't work for me.  And that which did( Peace Rose , Inchi Sacha 3.6.9 ) has been  discontinued.  I know better.  Gave it 5 because this may work for someone.

SheaMoisture is an amazing brand of affordable hair care products. I'm always blown away by the quality of their products. My hair has always tended to  be naturally dry, frizzy, very easily matted and tangled so this shampoo is a necessity for me. It smells amazing, lathers well and is essential as step 1 of helping me detangle my often matted hair. My teenage daughter loves it too as she often experiences the same hair issues.

This shampoo is a necessity for my hair care

I no longer have the product because I finished it, that's how much I loved it! Postpartum, I had a lot of hair loss and my hair that never before tangled with tangle and get married immediately. This product saved my hair! It smells amazing, which is a huge plus I can always count on Shea moisture products to save the day. This shampoo prepared my hair for detangling before even conditioning! My hair also felt silky and smooth after my wash! I love love, love, love, love shea moisture! Can't wait to try more of their products, I'm obsessed! My curls love it!

A curly hair staple

When they say “HI SLIP” they weren't lying. I use this to wash my daughter's hair who has very tight coils 4c hair. I have been looking for something with the perfect consistency and clean ingredients for her hair and she's moisturizer has done it again. It has a nice lather and really helps detangle her hair. I follow up with their detangling spray and I save so much time on detangling her hair. Her coils are bouncier and overall voluminous. I am already a huge fan of shea moisture but this line really just did it for me!

don't sleep on this detangling shampoo !! my hair is very long so it tangles very often very quickly. i usually have to brush my hair multiple times a day but after I use this shampoo I get brushing done way faster because it doesn't pull on my hair

I am pro anything Shea Moisture. Products are amazing for the hair. Softness of hair after using is amazing. And promoted hair growth.  Promotes healthy hair. I'd like to add it doesn't leave hair dry.

This was extremely watered-down. It took a couple of times and lots of the shampoo to get a good lather.  My hair felt as if it had been stripped and was brittle feeling.

lies! I tried this twice just to  make sure but this stuff made my naturally curly 4c hair hard and brittle did not detangle at all, i used aussie conditioner to detangle i would 100 % not recommend this product.
