Just purchased it and used it on kitchen range. Like advertised, just paint on. The color matches older white appliances but not the white of the newer ones

The product works.  It covered the chip I had in some porcelain, but the repair is obvious though not as obvious as the black chip. It's probably the best that can be hoped for. I will use the product again.

Covered the chipped surface

This did the job.  I thought we needed a new range with that awful chip missing from right in front, but it's only noticeable to others if I point it out.  This blends beautifully on my 2015 range.  Have had it on for about 2 months now, so think it will last.

Worked for Us

I ordered this to cover a chip in my bathroom sink near the drain.  It seems to be holding up so far.  It's protection for the chip, but since the sink is older, the bright white is noticeable. I don't mind, but if you want a perfect match on something older,  this won't do that. I also tried it out on a gash in my white woodwork caused by a falling picture frame. It did a great cover up job.

Good product

It's obvious why this company has been around for decades.  Their "Sheffield 1126 1 oz. White Porcelain Touch Up" as well as their "Sheffield 1126 1 oz. Almond Porcelain Touch Up" are excellent products.  They are easy to apply, and the colors -- especially "Almond" -- match appliance touch-up exactly as well as being long lasting.

Excellent Appliance Touch-up

A little part of the porcelain face from an antique French clock had chipped off, leaving a nasty dark spot between the 2 and 3 hour mark.   Glad I found Sheffield touch up.  Applied it in 2 steps and now the 200 year old clock looks great again.  "Runs like a clock!"

Works as advertised but the paint is very thick even after shaking. What I did was use another small artist  brush and didn't bother with the one supplied.  It does harden well and you can sand it with 1500 grit to smooth out the lines. But if you need it in a hurry. see if you can buy it locally. Shipping was expensive and very slow.

It is what it is

Product was exactly as described.  But the shipping was the slowest of anything I have ever bought online.  Took almost 2 weeks.  Bought the same product in a different color from another vendor and got it in three days.

touch up paint

I have had this product in the past. It works very well not only on sinks and bathubs, but on white appliances like freezers that got scratched in a move.
I used it on a white part of my bicycle too.
Just shake it up good and have at it.
I use it in very thin layers. I wipe off most of the paint on the inside of the bottle and put on one layer. I give it about 1/2 hour and sometimes add a 2nd or 3rd layer in 1/2 hour intervals. It covers very well.

great product

There were 2 nicks in the bathroom sink, both less than the width of a pinhead. Applied the paint just before going to bed. It stood out stark against the rest of the fixture. When I got up next morning it was almost impossible to see the paint. It did an excellent job.

Great porcelain paint.

ot your fault, but we found out after we applied, that our tub is enamel, not porcelain, and it was too white.
