Shepherd Hardware claims to be distributing quality semi steel casters with sintered iron wheels as shown in their online catalog.  Instead, they have decided to outsource this caster to China who produce sand cast wheels.  The result is a caster which is absolute junk.  The quality is terrible.  I hope you will join me in boycotting Shepherd Hardware and all of their products.  I personally wasted many hours of my time trying to purchase sintered wheel casters twice from Shepherd Hardware, but never again!  Don't waste your money nor your time with Shepherd Hardware.
