I have received numerous compliments from neighbors on this bridge.  I installed it in my front yard where I lost a small tree.  It was easy to assemble and made of quality construction.

We really like the look of this 5' bridge, I stained the wood first so that it will last longer in the hot California sun.  A 71 year old lady and a 54 year old lady assembled this in about an hour.  We had a rubber mallet which was very useful in hammering the rails into the holes made for it in the posts.  The holes were a little small and so it took some doing to get the rails in.  A regular hammer would have been too hard and ruined the soft wood.  After assembling the bridge we drilled 6 round holes in the top of each post and inserted solar lights.  It looks really nice. One solar light didn't charge but for 99¢ we will purchase another to replace it.

NICE BRIDGE

This bridge came out beautiful. I decided to stain and seal the wood as recommended by the seller and then assemble it. The bridge came with over 100 wood screws but assembly was pretty easy. The completed bridge has added character and beauty to my backyard.

Character and Beauty

Very cute, fits exactly where we wanted it. The instructions left a lot to be desired, and the parts that were referenced in the instructions were not marked, so that you really did not know if you had the correct part in hand. It was easy enough to figure out.
It took about an hour to assemble, but it was not difficult. All the pre drilled holes were perfect.

The instructions could have been a little better.  Assembly takes a little time and it is easier with a second person, at least until you get the frame together.  Otherwise it was pretty easy to put together but I would use a drill.   It took stain no problem and it doesn't seem to have an issue when you walk across.  First the price I'd say it's a good value.

Walking bridge

Looks good, easy to put together. However my husband seems to think it will not last as the pieces are very lightweight and somewhat flimsy.  He says decoration only, don't walk across.  We painted it with an exterior deck stain so hopefully that will make it last longer.  For the price, can't go wrong, though a week later, it's $30 cheaper!!

for the price, you're not going to find one of these bridges made out of better wood, i fear. but i was still disappointed when i opened the box and the cuts were so rough, and the wood so unlike cedar. needed a lot of sanding. it DOES feel like it will be sturdy when put together; i'm just not sure it's going to look all that nice. i'll update later.

sturdy? probably. as cute as picture? not really.
