initially,  i tried ordering the Shine  N Jam in the red label, but Walmart qas out. So decided to try the yellow label. Best decision ever for braing my 12 yr old son's hair. Did his hair in notless braids (his own hair), and it worked perfectly.  his style has held for over 2 weeks. So would definitely recommend this product as it worked very well for me!

Previously used Aussie gel for my daughter's hair. Was looking for something to make her twists last longer. This stuff does not budge. I'm not even any good at doing hair, but this gel holds my daughter's hair down even when she's dedicated to messing it up by rolling around on the carpet :/

Super hold gel

It will hold your hair in place if it doesnt already have oil based product on it. I have used a leave in cream that has oil in it before I straightened my hair, so the jame had a hard time hold my edges in place. Next time I'll used it on just clean, dry hair.

I have purchased this hair gel  twice this is a good gel for holding your edges I just love the way it holds my hair love it

Amazing hair gel

I love the product but my product has been coming half full. I order an 8 ounce jar and it came half full like literally half full and then I ordered a second time and it came half full so I'm a little bit concerned with my product I'm not getting

Love it but I need all of my products

I use it on my toddlers hair. His styles lasts a day or so without fly aways when I use a bonnet at night. that's a lot for how busy my toddler is and how wild he sleeps.

If you have thick, curly or hard to tame hair I dont suggest to hold your edges. This works nicely for shine, but does nothing for hold. I use it with gorilla snot and it makes a really nice ponytail.
