Overall, really good product, works well not greasy lays my hair well, it's not an edge control but it does the job when styling my hair, doesn't dry my hair out, REALLY GOOD PRODUCT.

LOVE THIS STUFF

Previously used Aussie gel for my daughter's hair. Was looking for something to make her twists last longer. This stuff does not budge. I'm not even any good at doing hair, but this gel holds my daughter's hair down even when she's dedicated to messing it up by rolling around on the carpet :/

It has the right name shine and jam because it do wonders for my hair I love it and will continue to use it because it lays my hair down just the way I like

Amazing hair gel

I use this for parting my daughters hair. It has a decent hold but with any braid gel if they don't tie their hair up you braid girlies know. Sleeks the hair nice minimal white residue.

Great for braid parting

I use it on my toddlers hair. His styles lasts a day or so without fly aways when I use a bonnet at night. that's a lot for how busy my toddler is and how wild he sleeps.

While I like this product this one made my hair too stiff for my liking. I like the hold of the number 8. The hold of this number 6 was too much for my hair. I recommend starting with number 6. The number is on one side of the jar. I thought 6 was less stiffing than 8. I guess it goes the opposite way for this brand. It doesn't have a strong smell and it doesn't flake. It dries pretty fast.

If you have thick, curly or hard to tame hair I dont suggest to hold your edges. This works nicely for shine, but does nothing for hold. I use it with gorilla snot and it makes a really nice ponytail.
