It also functions as a, tire thumper, 5th wheel release hook, container seal breaker, cam pin compressor, headache rack tool, and more. As a Door Latch Handle Extender, it is a safety leverage bar to assist the driver operator in opening and closing shipping container doors. Great for opening shipping and cargo containers that are rusted or iced over! The Tire Thumper function assists the driver operator in a quick method of evaluating properly inflated tires for truck driver safety. Properly inflated tires make a loud, sharp thud. Poorly inflated tires make a dull thud. The Fifth Wheel Release Hook assists the driver in releasing the fifth wheel which can cause neck, shoulder and back injury as well as, damaging your clothes with grease, oil, and road grime. The handle is heavy duty and supplies that extra leverage needed for the secondary door handles. Unfortunately this does not fit over the main handle due to the handle protection, but the main doors have a longer handle and they can be closed easily.
