The 3-strap wrist splint proved to be more comfortable than the immobilization splint I got at the hospital which has a large shoe-lace mechanism that looks like shoes from the 19th century. It's worked for me!

United Sports Brands

I use it primarily for mountain biking with a pretty severe wrist sprain, and it helps a lot! Got me back on the bike way sooner without restricting too much range of motion. Troy Lee designs used to sell these exact same ones with their brand name on them that I used for many years for downhill mountain biking, and nice to see we can still get the originals through Shock Doctor. Highly recommend!

My son broke his right wrist twice this hockey season.  Bought this after the second break and it has done its job.

These wrist supports are great.  They give full wrist support without impeding too much movement.  I use them while lifting weights and I'm very happy with them.  Weight lifting gloves fit underneath them.

Great Wrist Guards

Fits great for biking and motorcycle off road riding. Keeps wrist is good position good fit and can wear over or under gloves if gloves are large enough.

I'm a 66 year old CrossFit athlete. The wrist flexion required by Front Squats, among other movements, was causing some tendonitis. I tried wrist wraps like other guys use but they didn't stabilize my whole wrist, plus I found them uncomfortable. I'm now on my second set of Shock Doctor Wrist Supports now. The first set lasted about three years before the velcro on the straps got worn. I didn't hesitate in buying another set. They're wrist savers for sure. My tendonitis is greatly reduced but I will keep wearing them every day, except perhaps for deadlifts.

Better Than Wrist Wraps for CrossFit WODs

Needed something like this to restrict my wrist twisting and bending due to a pulled tendon. The metal in the back is light and fits my hand really well. I got the right hand XS.

Great wrist support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would consider this Shock Doctor Wrist 3-Strap Support Wrap pretty decent. It overall felt a little uncomfortable for me, but it did help me a lot with support. I've struggled with wrist and joint problems and was very eager to try this wrist wrap out. The idea that this product helps your wrist from being able to bend upwards and gives it support, interested me greatly. It seems great, but when I tried it on it was a little uncomfortable. I have tried other wraps that were much more comfortable for less money. The disk inside the hard casting felt too hard, and the shape and way it was positioned ended up causing me pain on the top of my wrist and the top of my hand. I did appreciate that this was partially a soft wrap and partially a hard cast. In that way, it felt as if this wrap wasn't as invasive as other hard wraps, but I would like the hard part to be a little softer or maybe a different shape. It did offer lots of support to my wrist though, especially when lifting things. It also prevented me from bending my wrist upwards, which I enjoyed, as that is one of the things that causes me pain. The stitching and material by the thumb made it uncomfortable too. It rubbed on my skin, and felt very rough. I really enjoyed the microfiber material it was mostly made of, but wished the part that touched my thumb was made of the same soft material. The stitching everywhere else felt nice and strong, however. The Velcro also felt really strong, and I really enjoyed the 3 strap system. It made it easy to fit it onto my wrist perfectly. With other products, I have dealt with the problem of needing it tight around my wrist but having to make it too tight around my forearm to give me full support. This very much solved that problem. This also helped with breathability, as if it started to get too hot, I could remove two of the straps to get some air without having to take the wrap off completely. Overall, this wrap did help me, but I felt as if it could use a couple of improvements. I would recommend this to others who have wrist pain and need support for various reasons. I do see a lot of potential, and hope this company listens to reviews like these, and makes adjustments. With a little improvement, this could be the best product on the market.

Great support but a little uncomfortable

These work when the Velcro hasn't given out. The Velcro is very weak and my first time wearing them and every time since the Velcro undoes itself and I have to keep readjusting. Bought a couple different sizes and that didn't make a difference.

They mostly work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this, as i was looking for a black bracelet to wear to work, to help with my carpal tunnel! This... is horrible! There is absolutely no support under your wrist at all. It's all on the top of it, so for me, it defeats the purpose of a brace! I got a size small, and it's still a little big for my hand around the palm! I definitely wouldn't recommend this for any type of support to the wrist! I greatly appreciate Influenster sending it to test out, but it is a hard no from me!
