Sitting down to play this was like when I was a kid and got a brand new Nintendo game.  Definitely see the inspiration from some of the games I played then.  Levels and character design are interesting.  I've definitely been impressed or surprised by something and haven't gotten that far into it yet.  Playing it for the first time - blind and finding it a bit hard. My kids think games like this are pixelated garbage, but coming from the Nintendo generation I think it's pretty great.
